Probably because their is a McFly concert on at Wembley Arena in the evening. The police would want one crowd to have cleared before the next lot start arriving.

Sounds sensible then. Can you imagine the punch up that would ensue, Cobblers and Bradford versus McFly fans?  Grin

The Brentford v Yeovil Final on the 19th is also 1.30pm KO but no McFly that night??? I smell Mr Murdoch's Sky empire dictating KO again.

The final day of the premier league is Sun 19th, with all ko at 4pm, I woud imagine that is a key factor in the brentford ko being at 130

We are just 50 mins away from Wembley where as our Northern friends are 3 hours plus and most have return the same day.
Traditional 3pm ko was to allow factory/miners/dockers workers the chance to watch matches after their shifts and has little relevence nowadays. Hope thÀt helps.

Yer, I feel sorry for Bradford fans ... crazy decision to have the k.o time at 1.30pm, doesn't give them much time at all. If it was at Old Trafford this season, would be a similar scenario and we're miles away!

They should decide on a KO time dependent whos playing- a late KO time for the facup today seemed sensible as you had 80k travelling from the north west our game tomorrow wouldve been best suited to a 3pm KO

Sorry, I think it might be down to ensuring that I can attend both the match and a birthday party later that evening.

Or even a youth football club's Presentation Night. I bet there's quite a few on that evening.
