Thanks for that, think I might change for the 7.33 to the 7.44 special as I presume it will be quicker

Nope! Looks like the 0744 will follow the 0733 all the way to London, even though its not stopping everywhere. No path for it on the Fast Lines I presume! 0733 arrives Euston at 0838, 0744 arrives 0842.

Better late than never from London Midland but no mention on which trains are singing trains?  Grin

Very good point.

First capital connect, Where's our 'special' for the dozen or so Cobblers fans in the Luton area?
Feeling a bit left out, but on the upside we'll get a seat.

Thanks GPC, do you know what type of train sets they're using for the specials, as that will determine the capacity. LM's website said something about borrowing them from Virgin and others so perhaps a Pendolino on hire?

If you're not bothered about getting there too early, then the 10:09 is your quickest option at 47 minutes. Could be a Virgin on hire, quick stop at MK, then maybe on to the fast track to Euston? Dunno. Is there a way of finding out where they'll all be stopping yet?

Thinlk a couple are Pendo's, although the Pretendolino might make an appearance! the 10 coach would be a double voyager set, the 11 coach would be a Pendo.....no idea whats on what yet!

And Fred, the stops I already listed for the specials, it seems that the 1009 is the only one which will get access to the fast line at some point on it's journey, hence the faster journey. The others are being stuck behind the normal service trains.

I hope that London Midland have warned passengers from Birmingham, Coventry and Rugby to try and travel from other stations as the services are needed for an important event further south. Wink

I will get a train around 8am, not because I want to start drinking just after 9am, the reason is to make sure I'm not stuck at castle station because of queues for trains.

Why do you keep calling it castle station!!

Getting the 10:05 direct to Wembley, which should get in at around 11ish, plenty of time to have a drink or two.

If you go to the londonmidland booking page and select the train, you have an option to display all stops.

You can look for the clues around the entrance from the main road.

GPC, are they all going to Euston? I saw LM are saying to go to Euston then get the tube to Wembley Park, but my groupsave ticket says from Northampton to Wembley Central, where it appears not many trains are stopping so where does that leave me?
