I don't get trains at all ... How can they sell tickets that actually are not valid? Getting there seems ok, but getting back appears to be a bit of a cock about.

They backed down on the group discount, so, make you buy another ticket. Got to get the money back somehow, and keep the shareholders happy.

what would happen if you changed at watford onto the Northampton train??? Turn into a pumpkin Can't as NO trains running from Wembley Central. My tickets are only valid from Wembley Central We're in the same boat. Gonna go to Watford Junction then go n the Overground to Wembley Central. Same for the way back as there's loads of trains taking that route Think a boat would be quicker at this rate mate

There are no trains direct from Wembley Central to NORTHAMPTON. Tyler is correct, there are trains to Watford Junction where you change to Northampton.

For those people with tickets/groupsave to Wembley Central (not Euston or travelcard holders) you will need to head north after the game, it doesnt matter whether its on an overground train or an underground train, your tickets are valid. If an underground train comes along you'll need to get off at Harrow, as thats where they terminate, then you can get an overground, London Midland or Southern train northbound. If an overground train arrives, get on it and stay on till Watford.
For you travelcard holders you could take the above option, or take any train south, be it Underground or Overground. If its underground then youve obviously got to change somewhere and get to Euston (Baker Street for Euston Square, Oxford Circus for Euston). If its overground (every 20 mins) then youre straight into Euston......happy days!!
For those people with groupsave/tickets to London Euston your options are limited! You can only (in theory) board an overground train from Wembley to Euston....go on the underground as above and you're leaving yourself open to an £80 penalty fare, plus you won't get out of the barriers at the underground station anyway!!
Then the fun begins........as there are no specials on the way back!! Its just 3 trains an hour (strengthened with extra coaches though) at 13/49/54 minutes past the hour.
Just been on to my friends in LM, error on the website, now rectified! The specials back are at 1650, 1816, 1842 and 1942 from Euston. The 1650/1842 and 1942 all call at Milton Keynes Central then Northampton only, the 1816 is for Northampton only.
Good luck!!

I've just spoke to LM customer services who have advised that tickets to Wembley Central not London will be valid via London Euston tomorrow only to comply with LM latest travel advice. The online reservation I made suggested using a LM train from Wembley Central at 17:04 which no longer stops there.

our group of 4 are having it relatively easy compared to some 9-10 first capital connect from Bedford (but it goes straight through from St Albans to St Pancras so we) change in Luton onto 9-44 alighting at West Hampstead and then Jubilee line to Wembley Park - simples
