If it helps keeping a decent club like Coventry in business and they pay up front I see no problems. We may even increase our gate for home games with some Coventry fans visiting each week to watch us.

So where were the spiders, while the fly tried to break our balls

They won't bother coming to watch Coventry so doubt they'll bother with us

Good for us bad for Coventry. I wonder if the home and away ends will be the same. With the number of Coventry fans who will come might be as well to reverse it!

When do they play boro
Boxing day. Come along. Closest you'll get to League 1 football next season.

Maybe for each default they do - we get a Cov player of Aidy's pick.

The pitch will not be a problem, we don't use it.... I don't believe that but someone had to put it...

It's a joke, I feel for the Coventry fans.
Who would want to travel 70 miles round to watch their team at home? I live a mile from Sixfields and it's a struggle.
Plus Coventry's ground is million times nicer, they're in for a right shock, not that any of their fans will come over.
Just another example of a bunch of cowboys and incompetent pocket fillers ruining the game at lower levels, whilst teams higher up get their arses licked.
Football League need to sort this s*** out before we have no lower league game and it's all, "Premier League Soccer Ball from Londonshire England".
AFC Coventry in a few years?

It is all a bit strange I grant you! Wonder what will happen to the Ricoh now? Cov were offered a years rent-free play there for next season, so seems odd they should move out whilst looking for another site in Coventry to build a new stadium on! Also, i'm wondering how these two announcements link together.....a £12m loan from the council to enhance Sixfields at the same time a League 1 side want to come along and groundshare? As for the earlier comment about it being "a loan that doesn't get repaid"....you can bet your bottom dollar it will be at some point! There will be a number of people who see this as their council tax subsidising a private company. The future sale of the land and the controls NTFC have over it will i'd imagine be loosened in favour of paying the council back. That way this is just development now in lieu of an economic recovery.

The more I think about it the more I don't want it. I don't think it will affect the team too much and will supply cash but I don't want NTFC to be dragged into the sh1t that is happening at Coventry as potentially every time NTFC or sixfields is mentioned along side trouble at Coventry it could affect sponsorship deals etc

They say that, but I reckon Sixfields will be near enough full every time they play. Plenty won't be able to stay away from their team.

Forgive my naivety here but how does this actually benefit us?
Say Coventry bring 3000 for a 'home' game they'd need most of this revenue to pay players so we cant be getting much and what we do get will surely be nominal and from away fans only.

They rent the stadium for the day. I would imagine they pay for all security, and gate receipts are split between the two clubs.
