Just to ensure that the only high ground that coventry city fans could lay claim to was the hill behind the north stand as they have been shown up to be hypocrites.

Apparently some of the fans are insisting that we give them their pitch back as the one at the ricoh is in a poor state due to some gaming festival being allowed to walk all over it.

It seems not a word more about not a penny more fools on the hill, anyhow once the prices go up from a £10 at the ricoh you'll see the crowds drop and the not a penny more morons come back to life.

What's the chances on Coventry coming back ? Coventry council have agreed to sell 100% stake in Ricoh to Wasps for £20 million. Coventry have been told Wasps will honour current deal. After that who knows.

Didn't the ricoh cost something like £130 million to build I think that wasps also have to pay an outstanding  £13 million loan back to coventry council over 20 years. I'm not 100% sure on that but it would put the sale up to over £30 million.

So, at the Ricoh, they have an average attendance of 14,026 for League 1 games. Not much chance of our ever matching that, eh?

No, our best ever average was when we were in the top flight, 18,599.

The only other time we've beaten the average quoted was the season prior to our one season in the top flight, 14,642. That of course was in what is now the Championship, not the third tier of football. Our best average at that level was also in the sixties, 13,107 in 1962/3.

Someone said this is not Cobblers news. It's definitely Cobblers style sniping, though.
