Last night I dont think the players thought we could score a goal , you could tell by their body language .Once we did score it lifted them and we looked much better , BUT , as we all know , Platt and ROD are not going to score enough goals for us to be troubling the top of the table.

Absolutely agree, some good aspects to the team but without that Striker it will all be in vain, if we don't get results I will then start to impact onside nice too

I agree Horsham. You've always got to bear in mind how things impact on your onside nice.

I actually think ROD could be as prolific, if not more so than Bayo at this level.
All he needs is the right partner, whether or not that is Clive Platt I don't know but I highly doubt it...

ROD's finish last night was superb. Just placed it beyond their keeper from a decent distance. I think he is quality.

That's true. At the end of the day aidy would spend the money if Cardoza was offering it but Aidy is loyal and won't say.
We've a fair amount of loyal supporters who appear to have been completely mislead by DC and AB throughout the summer. Surely they deserve an explanation as to why both have failed to deliver on these quotes? So far, complete silence. I for one cannot wait until the next open forum as I'll be asking them to explain their comments. I'm just glad I didn't buy a season ticket on the back of the comments made.

I said that last season. He really is a quality striker. Very close to scoring against York (with very limited opportunites) and almost got a couple last night. A decent striker alongside him will obviously help, and we'll see in time if Platt is that man.

Surely you're not that stupid? Actually, considering your ideal team line-ups, maybe you are

We only come into the game when MK threw on the subs and took their foot off the gas.
If it wasn't for Duke playing a blinder we'd have been hammered.
Duke played very well indeed - but MK Dons did not have a striker or strikers good enough to finish off their many opportunities; but neither did we! The point that most on here tend to ignore is that the game, because of this inability; plus Dukes own outstanding performance was a much tighter affair than it should have been. At least two additional goals could and should have been scored even allowing for Dukes superb performance. Yes Duke saved us from a heavy defeat but he was also aided by some ineffective finishing,

Call me perverse but I actually thought is was one of the most enjoyable games I have seen for a while. Loads of incidents and yes it could easily have been a 4 or 5 goal thrashing and they were by far the better side but equally we missed 5 great chances. Great fun.

Do you know what, I have felt exactly the same. I have to keep reminding myself that we actually lost. But, I did really enjoy the game!
