Not sure if it's already on here somewhere, but these were the comments from ADB according to Jon Wilkinson (via Twitter).

Well last week we'd be making no more signings before the transfer window.

What is going on.

Pretty sure they heard you were boycotting home games and wanted to win you back.

I don't know what is going on.
It is a worry.
I'm sure the club will let us know.
Soon.

Are we members of the Arsenal school of information dissemination?
Eerily, it's very similar circumstances at a much lower level...  Tongue

They finally realised you were right all along and are now going to spend £1m on new players.

Who said we'd be making no more signing and when?  I don't read or hear every interview, but I'm sure this would have been mentioned on here before if this had been said.

Has Spillane signed for anyone yet? Would happily take him.

Hopefully the 'looking to bring experience in before Saturday' isn't another way of saying 'Platt will start on Saturday'.

As regards not needing anyone else in.
That was on the chron and echo site quoting AB last week.

I believe Spillane signed for Cambridge.

Would be a decent addition IMO. Was wanted by Micky Adams at Vale, but they didn't have the funds to sign him. If we signed a centre half it would free up Tozer to warm the bench and provide a solid brick wall to bring on if the midfield are being overrun again.
