Kelvin Langmead is due to return to training at the end of September and Lewis Hornby could return in November after undergoing shockwave therapy on a tendon issue behind his knee.

Squad strength starting to show through when you consider this team didn't make the starting X1 last week for 1 reason or another
Could argue that X1 is as strong or stronger than the team that finished last year ?

Snedkar
Alfie
Langmead
Collins
Horwood

D'Ath
Ravenhill
Carter
Nicholls

Sinclair
O Toole

Subs
Moyo
C Roberts
Hornby
Morris
Archer
Warburton
Saddiqi

Can see a few more strategic loan moves if and when everybody is fit and available

I can see langmead being loaned out mainly because wilder prefers Collins and diamond and with cresswell now joined I cant see where wilder will fit him in

Nearly 30 players in the squad ?
Would imagine there will be more than one or two on their bikes during the next 6 months or so , we must be way over budget !

I would say that it is a fair chance unless he was doing his Tarzan impression and the vine snapped. It is a bit of a bugger all the same as he is a quality player who will be missed.

And so it continues!

All the abuse Aidy got on here for supposedly heavy handed training routines...just saying!

I just don't get it. Diamond was supposed to have not played 2-3 weeks ago as a 'precaution' yet no mention now of him even returning to training.

I'm a slightly overweight drunkard who somehow at 42 manages to get through 2-3 squash matches a week with 2 minutes warming up and an hour of five a side football...the last time I had any kind of injury was about a year ago which put me out for a week.

A total mystery!

Richards 4-6 weks (so 10-12).

We were warned by Chesterfield fans he was a bit injury prone.

Sounds like we rushed him back a bit soon. Shame, but we have ample cover with Moyo Toney and Nicholls..
