This wil be a big loss, for not too long I hope. We've got some good replacements but not quite up to Rico's standard.

A loss for sure but maybe not as big a one as first might appear. We've had three games since this injury flared up and we've won 2 of them, drawn the other to an injury time equaliser. Scoring goals hasn't been the problem (as I'm sure Drilling will be happy to point out).

Does anyone know when some of the injured players are due back?

My reckoning is that we are currently missing:
- Duke
- Horwood
- Sinclair
- Morris (season over)
- Richards (4 weeks)
- O'Toole
- Hornby
- Diamond

I thought Duke was due to be back Saturday.

Sinclair, Diamond TBC?

I'm just glad the last two seasons of injury hell have coincided with the Fitness coach being on the payroll I dread to think what a mess we would be in without his expertise.

When was the last time we had an update on Horwood or Diamond ? , the silence coming out of the club is deafening.

They did say last week that Diamonds injury keeps flaring up when they think he’s just about ready to return and they were going to have to reassess the problem.
As for Horwood not a dickey bird.

I'd suggest that the signing of another left back rules out Horwood from coming back any time soon...

Plus JJ can be added to that list (I assume) now!

I had it in my wrist, about two weeks on tablets.

Which was played today, a match against Leicester at Sixfields, Duke got a 45 minute run out, Langmead got a full 90....

Zander Diamond is having surgery and won't be seen any time soon.

Lee Collins - They have no idea what's wrong and are still 'assessing' so doesn't sound good.

Marc Richards - Still at least a month away but a small price to pay for beating Pompey in the Paint Pot Challenge.

Conversely Ian Morris (who was definitely out for the season with a very serious injury remember) is now due to return in around 4 weeks! Seriously who on earth makes the assessment on our injuries?! They don't appear to have the foggiest!!

Delighted for him personally and hope he can help us out when he returns.

How do we keep mis diagnosing injuries? Am I being a bit naïve in this?
We just seem to have a constant flow of a player injured with X and will be back next week only to find out weeks later that actually its Y and he will be missing for ages.

We're going to lose more than we win until these 3 return so this doesn't look good.

With at least four first choice squad out for another month at least, we need to try to save our season by scrapping for every single point possible.

If the 'experts' forecast is to be believed we should be back to full fitness at Christmas.
I'm just hoping we wont be out of the race by then.

Maxium of 6 to 9 points adrift of seventh with 20 games to go with a full squad, I'd back them to a playoff place.

Lets get behind them.
