I don't need to guess the players feelings, I talk to them (different ones) several times a week. So I know their thoughts now and I knew them under Boothroyd. Equally I don't need to guess about the redevelopment. I know plenty about it. That I can assure you. I'm sure you would love me to get on Wilders back, as it would give you a welcome distraction from the redevelopment thread where you have had the floor wiped with you on a daily basis lately. I like Wilder. The players like Wilder. YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON ON THIS FORUM TRYING TO GENERATE DISCORD AROUND HIS CURRENT TENURE. I suggest you stop obsessing and second guessing and stick to what you know... Namely fcuk all. YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON ON THIS FORUM TRYING TO GENERATE DISCORD AROUND HIS CURRENT TENURE. Please withdraw this comment which is untrue and incorrect. Thanks and regards

Both yours and Karl's are valid points. We have a negative formation, based on hoofing a ball up to a kid. change it and go for it a bit, then we'll see improvement both on and off the pitch.
I see a lot of these guys when they train. They're not smiling these days.. I'm not too sure (purely my opinion) that they like the style of play we are adopting lately.
Tel, on your next post you say you like Wilder and the players like Wilder , which is true ?

I don't like every decision my boss makes. But I know he's trying to do a good job and we are very good mates.
They might not agree with his current style. But he is very popular.
What was your take on Bothroyd's popularity?

He was about as popular as a sneeze at Heathrow.
Not disagreeing but there were definitely tears (one presumes not of joy) when he finally went - so would suggest a bit more of a mixed camp - itself actually not ideal as a good manager does not precide over a divided team.

You're a Shyte stirrer. You'd love to see Wilder flounder and fail. You're the first one to fall quiet when times are good. Failure is you oxygen. Miserable sod...
Your having a laugh -if we had won on Sat I would have been over the moon and back. No hang on your just winding me up ..... silly boy

So for the rest of the season why not limit training to a gentle jog around the park? No vigorous running, stretching, or exercise at all. Certainly no contact sports.

So true. Some should get off Wilder's back, he is doing the best he can, with a squad littered with a shocking injury list, shades of us when we were in a jam in the third division under Atkins, if I remember we had quite a few player's out then.

Wilder has shown signs of losing the plot these last few games, injuries or not.
He needs to stop trying to be a scientist and start becoming a football manager again.
His recent obsession with Alfei (and still Archer) is cause for concern, and I will add his use of subs and tactics to that as well.
18th isn't good enough and things need to change quickly. Whilst the injury list is a mitigation, I'm more worried that they still keep happening outside of game time and for that reason I question the luck element. We will see ...a big fortnight coming up.

I can't argue with that, agree with the Alfie/Archer situation, Alfie reminds me of a full back, we had from Arsenal his name escapes me at the moment, he played under Sampson, good going forward but not a clue about defending, My son who is an Arsenal fan said,''he sounds like one of ours, ok going forward but can't defend, a typical Wenger defender''!

Paul Rodgers?
Well done, and thank you, that's him. It was driving me mad!

Played a bit like a demented spaniel with a short fuse. Quite liked him though, compared with Alfei.

His problem IMHO was lack of confidence. Had one match where he could be outstanding, and in the next make a minor mistake and go to pieces.
