Can't see this has been mentioned elsewhere but Lee Nicholls was given his home debut yesterday by Wigan after deputising for injured Scott Carson at the weekend against Charlton. According to reports he played a blinder at Charlton and has two clean sheets in a row - whilst he is not a product of our youth team I am certainly delighted for the lad and hopfully he will be playing at the top level one day.

Expected to start tonight against Rubn Kazan in the Europa League. Fair to play to the lad, well deserved.
A great example of how well the loan system can sometimes work for all parties.
