Striker next?
That's the plan, Blyth to sign next Friday. Next season we should aim to get our squad finalised before October, might stand a better chance of promotion then.

It seems so long ago when we were struggling at the bottom of the table signing P'boro's B team.

How did the new lad get on? Was he as effective as the score suggests?

I really hope we can get the loan extended, because I think he will be a real asset for us if he was fully fit.

He had some good moments today (should have had a pen) some so-so.... was good to see someone running beyond the strikers for a change!

Watching the ITV coverage now following my day on the Bishops' terrace yesterday, and thanks to their commentator now know that Kane Ferdinard's father is Irish and he has played for the Under 21s. Roy O'Donovan, Ian Morris, Gary Deegan and Kane Ferdinard, Stuart Dallas all Irish Expect a visit to Sixfields from Martin 0'Neill or Roy Keane very soon. And from Michael O'Neill to check on Stuart Dallas.

I'd forgotten about Arron Davies, probably about on par with Carter... Also we had Steve Collis on loan from them, also pretty poor.

Thought Ferdinand was good yesterday,as Rambo said was good to see a midfielder getting beyond the front two.Think hes going to be a good loan signing hoprfully be able to extend it if he turns out to be as good as i think he can.Reminded me a bit of Brad Johnson box to box type player.

Sean, with half our players coming from the Emerald Isle, maybe we should recognise that we could have a new contingent of Irish fans flocking to sixfields, so bacon and cabbage should be on the menu, washed down with Guinness. Also the team could come out to 'the fields of Anthenray'

If I was Irish the last thing I would do is Remind people that Deegan and Morris are Too. I feel slightly less responsible for them now.
