I'm sure you're all in shock after today just as much as i am, 40 years of following Hereford and haven't seen a game like that.
Don't give up on your manager, remember first half we were destroyed, he just made a simple mistake, our stand in manager changed from 1 up front to 3, Manset changed your defence from having an easy day to having a nightmare, after we scored our first he should have changed things round, not started ranting on the sidelines and NOT brought Guinan on, as you maybe heard he is liked by us. Maybe things would have been different if Mckenzie hadn't gone off, who knows..... football is a strange game, just remember a few weeks ago how you felt after the Liverpool win.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

Hereford looked alright today, and certainly nothing like Tim the radio twats prediction of a 'big physical side', so fair play for some good football for this level. Your manager definitely won it with the sub as well. It's about the fifth time we've collapsed like this since the start of the season, shipping goal after goal once the first has gone in, so it's not really a one-of blip really. It won't be our last collapse for sure.

Maybe we all need to take this as an objective view to put a bit of perspective on today's result...

With all due respect in the first half we didn't 'destroy' you, you destroyed yourself. We were at best very average and Hereford were woeful. Probably the worst 45 minutes I have ever seen from a professional team.

You summed things up perfectly about our manager though. He made all the wrong decisions and even your fans could see that, so imagine what it was like for us.

The Liverpool game was a one-off fluke, our results since have proven that, so to save a manager's job because of one past result is an absolutely ridiculous suggestion.

And to say that you have never seen anything like that in 40 years watching football just shows what a complete capitulation it was from our team. It highlights what sort of plight we are in and the buck stops with the manager.

But at least someone's had a good day, if I was a Hereford fan I'd be over the moon tonight so savour it while you can. I just hope we're not playing each other in the Conference next year.

Piss of Hereford, in the last two seasons you've probably been responsible for 1 1/2 of the worst halves of football ever seen at Sixfields from an NTFC perspective.

I dread to think what will happen next year if we meet!   Grin

But seriously, congrats on your win. We have alot of problems, but coming from 3 goals down like that with your bleedin' physio in charge must be something special. Enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Reading the Hereford board, I think they're getting far too carried away with their win today. It came largely due to us panicking and a few dodgy substitutions. When it came down to playing football in the first half they were dross. I'd still have them amongst the favorites for relegation for sure

Most definitely.

My favourites for relegation now are Barnet, Hereford and Northampton. Undecided

I don't think they were worse than Bradford or Stanley.

I wish I could tell you the view of the four Hereford fans who were at the train station at 4.30pm waiting for the next train to Brum having left the game at half-time and walked back down the Weedon Road!
There was a lot of swearing and phrases such as "I dont bloody believe it" as they kept in touch with the score via their mobiles!!!

Sorry..but why were you at the station at 4.30pm? Even with the woeful 2nd half from us..that's a bit early to jump ship..to be down there by then!

There is so many arguments why you should never leave a match until the final whistle - Reading was a classic recent example of this

Leaving a match early something I've never done is like getting off a woman before you've done the business, again something I've never done, apart from when her husband came home early  Tongue

To be fair, it was a once in a blus moon game.  Well hopefully, I don't wanna see us chuck a three goal lead again in a hurry.

Thanks Edgar, fair play to your team and supporters, games like that are why you follow you team.  We know only too well as we are still living off the back of winning at Anfield.  Enjoy!
