In a few years people will be saying bring back Ryan Gilligan mark my words!

Having read what some of the simpletons think on here, I don't doubt it for a minute.

...he was without a shadow of doubt better than average for a lower league central midfielder.

s*** midfielder, good left back. (I've heard this since!)

On the subject of Hargreaves, if he was below average then Im not sure what that makes 90% of midfielders we have had playing for us over the last 10 years? ! I know he wasn't brilliant but he was without a shadow of doubt better than average for a lower league central midfielder.

hargreaves was solid. if we had a midfielder who could be arsed like he was we wouldn't be 3rd bottom!
hed probably be in most peoples starting 11's for the last decade!

...... get a red card within the first 5 mins!

I think we could do without central defenders who get red cards.  We seem to have had a bit too much of that recently.

Don't be so sure, Hargreaves was in the team that got Oxford relegated out of the league.

He was also in the Torquay side that got promoted from the BSP  Tongue

We could well have the Beckwith-Hinton partnership back for Gillingham.  The best we ve got and formed a fairly consistent pairing last season.
