Only a few times in my years supporting NTFC have I felt I must make the extra effort to get to a game,ie; Shrewsbury and Barnet (after going into administration), but the next game at Burton is a time when supporters should turn out to show Mr Cardoza he is not the little boy with his finger in the dam! He needs to be shown fans are behind him in his custodianship of the club, especially in his unenviable decision on the next manager. We, as a group are making the short trip on Boxing Day, and I hope hundreds are there supporting NTFC.

Exactly Fenners, do i support DC who has overseen the Cobblers into a huge debt and bottom of the football league under his charge, and give money to another club, or spend time with my family, no contest really, family first.

I think DC has done most things supporters have wanted unless you are one of those experts after the event!!

Your a brave man to call this as judging by the first few cynical replies it maybe hard work. You are right though - those who do the moaning etc are the first to cry for the armchair. It is no brainer for supporting the club at Burton. |

As much as I love the Cobblers. They come a very poor second to the family..
If it was a home game and lined our pockets, then yes...
You might as well resign as you are no use on here at all. "As much as I love the Cobblers" sounds as hollow as Davy Jones chest. I did suggest that you take a rest as this whole affair has affected your .........err judgement. Personally I would give your loved ones a rest on Boxing Day; they may well appreciate it  |

You are correct in that DC has an unenviable decision to make. We are all experts. I didn't want Sammo, (no to a 'good old boy' ex-player) or Wilkinson. I thought Gorman would be ok, wasn't too sure on Calderwood and Gray, applauded Johnson, (so did many of us), and thought that Boothroyd was a good choice. What do I know though, I have only been watching the club for 40 odd years and the one that did the most damage, (GJ), got the biggest thumbs up. God luck DC. |

Its not for going or not going - after all its one's choice Its the excuses you make; to give a long diatribe on DC like you did is pretty poor form. Just say "Not going". How on earth you can justify going to Pompey based on your attitude All CC has done has made an appeal for support at Burton yet you and a few others make aimless cynical comments. |

The fans have been great this season. The only problem is that they are sometimes quick to get on our players backs after each mistake which is not great with confidence low.
