If Allen appointed - expect Bayo back. If King appointed expect to see Parkin

What if Hargreaves is appointed?
Will Spetch was on the radar, but the managerial change may have altered that.

Peterborough are trying to unload some familiar names, like Kane Ferdinand and Tyrone Barnett. Also assume we'd sign Norris in January, don't know how the injury effects that now,

Both on loan till end of the season would be nice. Someone let Kingy know that DC says he is allowed to bring them in on new year's day  Grin

Doubt it. He hardly started under Allen at Gillingham and whether people here like it or not, since about last Christmas football has not been Akinfenwas priority. Akinfenwa has been his main priority. I wouldn't welcome him back. League 2 players (and managers - Allen) shouldn't be writing national newspaper columns either

It says in the Chron that any players signed on the morning of January 1st will be allowed to play in the afternoon against Chesterfield. I do hope King is in contact with a few clubs in order to get us a much needed loan striker to help Moyo.

Wonder if Moult would come back?

Never quite understood what happened with Moult. Played really well and got his goal against Vale. Him and Bayo looked really good together, instant understanding type stuff. Then he got his red card and suspension and never really got a look in again.

Very odd especially as Aidy said he is not one to Ostracise players(!).

DC would have to break the bank, but those are exactly the the type of players we need right now.

I thought pish took ferdinand back, saying we were interested in buying him but they didn't want to sell.  Not sure much would have changed in a few weeks?

Norris would be a good buy, however given both clubs have changed manager now and we still don't have one, not sure this will go ahead either.  Guessing the injury will rule out the rest of his loan spell sadly

Would the rules allow us to take Blyth on loan from Leicester again as an immediate loan for New Years Day? That would be a sensible move in view of the injured strikers list.

No disrespect but we need a better quality of striker than Blyth to get us out of this mess. He did well first loan spell but didn't really look fit second spell...

Tyrone Barnett & Nardiello on loan would defo keep us up imo. Nardiello's loan spell at Bury expires on Saturday I believe.....they are the sort of strikers we need at this moment imo.

MK Dons have confirmed that Bamford will not be returning to the club when his loan expires in a few days...I guess that might mean our chances of securing Macleod long term have diminished somewhat?

The club are working on trying to get a striker in for tomorrow morning, as highlighted above, if it goes through he would be eligible to play against chesterfield.

According to Lake, Mcleod's injury will last until beyond the end of his loan so he'd gone back to MK.

Not sure we saw the best of him given that fact that the service he got was next to nothing.
