If Allen appointed, expect Lee Hughes and Luke McCormick on loan.
& some on here still "wouldn't care as long as we stayed up" Presumably the same cretins that wanted GDS here

No disrespect but we need a better quality of striker than Blyth to get us out of this mess. He did well first loan spell but didn't really look fit second spell...
Tyrone Barnett & Nardiello on loan would defo keep us up imo. Nardiello's loan spell at Bury expires on Saturday I believe.....they are the sort of strikers we need at this moment imo.
Think I heard or saw somewhere that Nardiello's loan at Bury was extended for a month.

We are going to have to rely on loans to keep us up this season. If I was a half decent professional player there's no way I would sign for a club that's stuck at the bottom of the league. They could have Pellegrini as manager with Guardiola as tea boy and I still wouldn't sign, there's no way back from the conference.

Yawn. Just like there wasn't two years ago? And the year before that? Players will sign for us providing we offer enough money and have a manager who can close deals. It's as simple as that. Last time we were in this position we signed Clark Carlisle, Luke Guttridge, Ben Harding and Matt Duke on loan - they made the difference.

I would like us to stay up please. Preferably without a team with an extensive criminal record.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet

Not so much a rumour but Hazma Bencherif has been released by Plymouth, central midfielder who was decent for Macclesfield a few years ago, a bit more defensively minded which could suit us nicely. Of course we won't be signing anyone until we get a new manager (I assume) but it could be one for the new gaffer to look at.

Mentioned him to a county supporting mate at work and he said Bencherif is a mess, although he didn't talk too highly of Ravenhill either

Bauza now turning out for Port Talbot, surely worth another short-contract given his form last time he was here? Can't see how he'd have fallen away so quickly.

He is also studying at Swansea Uni, so that suits him nicely.

People said this about Jason Crowe. There's always a reason why players are playing for the team they are

Ah makes sense. People said this about Jason Crowe. There's always a reason why players are playing for the team they are
Jason Crowe was 34 when he dropped into non-league though. Bauza is 29. He hasn't been injured so there's no physical reason for him to be incapable of recapturing his form here, it's just attitude. Whether or not that can be changed depends on the manager I guess.

Look at Bauza's career, he's clearly declining and his Uni studies shows he's already thinking about life post football. A quick wiki search shows he only scored 4 goals at Exeter as well.

If there is money to be spent, surely taking a look at ex players Brett Williams and Louis Moult who are leading the scoring charts in the conference is worth a go.
