Well if it is a case that he can only play one game this week because of his knee then i rather him play on Sat against Gillingham.
Exact opposite for me I'm afraid, this is the chance to get into the quarter-finals of a major competetion for the very first time. Gillingham is just 3 points.

I do like the (predictable) headline: 'What a load of Cobblers'. Makes me proud to think that we will be taking more fans there than the mighty Leeds. I was at the Ipswich v Leeds match and they created an unpleasant atmosphere around the town. At least our supporters have gained a positive reputation.

"just 3 points" 3 Points would feel like gold now surely - I know it would be great to get into the quarters but not at the expense of football league status

No chance, though. They'll go with just McKay up front, won't they?

Would you re-sign in the current club climate?

Yeah, might as well... not like it would stop him moving on if he wanted to.
It just seems like he might of been dropped recently to stop any hype building around him so he signs on with us.

I'm 100% with Marvo on this one, a win tonight is far more important to me. A place in the quarter final of a cup and the possibility of more cash to try and prise Mr Cardozas wallet open and properly improve the squad. It's not yet November so we have loads of time to improve things in the league.

But the longer it takes to sort the league form out the harder it will be to avoid the drop.

If we win tonight it could act as that much needed catalyst to get us up and running in the league again.
Lets win tonight and then get this promotion push under way. No reason why it cant happen

Roy Keane: "Northampton come here with nothing to lose and that puts the pressure on us but if you want to progress as a football club we have to deal with that pressure.
"It's a great game for Northampton, and a good game for us. Both teams have struggled in the league over the last week or so but I prefer to focus on Northampton's cup form when I'm judging them. Any team that has gone to Reading and Liverpool and won has to be respected.
"Northampton will have a good travelling support behind them and they will come here and have a right go but we need to deal with that and bounce back after what has obviously been a disappointing week for us, with the three defeats."

I was pretty pessimistic about this, and have been all week considering our lack of defenders.
And then Radio Northampton player the Angus/Osman Penalty Clip. Man, I could listen to that on loop all day. I'll quite happily take anything other than a Hartlepool result.
