I think its sad that Tozer was (and is?) on his way out of the club. He is a versatile player, a good club man and his long throw really is worth it's weight in gold.
I hope either Andy King or the new manager keep him and work to get the best out of him.

He's made 66 more appearances for the club than anyone else in the squad, that should count for something.

Try's very hard but lacks any real quilaty. Needs to have a regular position in the team.

My argument for Tozer until more recently would have been about his versatility. But lately he's just a really good player and an asset.
any doubt as to why we are bottom of the league is put to rest with the above statement.

One or two good performances doesn't make him a player. He is 2nd choice in every position. Long throw aside what does he bring to the party?

He went from being " Ben is always first on my teamsheet " to being shipped out on loan. What changed ? He suffered when AB lost the plot thats all. Tozer is what he is , a useful versatile squad player who tries his heart out. Hope he stays.

He's not a full back. He's not a centre-back. I'm not sure if he's a midfielder either, he's going to have to go on a proper good run in the middle of the field to change my mind on this one.

I think he's a centre back, but he's just had two outstanding games for us in two diffferent midfield positions - credit where it's due.

The guys an athlete that works very hard. He's played well lately but lets not get carried away, he wastes possession, he has a horrendous touch and he doesn't read the game very well. Hardly irreplacable. He's made 66 more appearances for the club than anyone else in the squad, that should count for something.
Ryan Gilligan made over 200 appearences for the club, it counts for nothing.

If appearances count for nothing, I wonder why so much fuss is made when players reach certain milestones? 521 League appearances by Tommy Fowler for the Cobblers. Apparently.... counts for nothing. How sad.

If Ben Tozer is in form he should play. There are team players who are not particularly outstanding but they work hard for the team and are the cement that creates a team . A brick wall without cement is useless - a team without workers is just a bunch of prima-donnas!
