or lack of!
Two things: can't believe your low numbers today and that's as quiet as we have been in years.
I realise that you have not had the best of starts to the season but 859!!!

Take a few minutes to read the other threads on here and you might understand why.
Don't always recall Oxford selling out at our place when you were heading down a few years back either

Before this match we had lost the last 4 games, the last one being a come back from Hereford after being 3-0 up Think about how many supporters wouldn't of bothered with this game after the last woeful performances Me and my mate did a lot of away games last season mainly for the fun of going to a new town, having a few drinks and a laugh regardless of previous results But I didn't even bother with today, so to be honest 859 is a good turn out in my opinion.

Our support is dwindling, I was surprised we had as many as 859.

It's the Ipswich factor. If you're going to choose between the two games it's bound to be Ipswich. No offence.

That is a good point, of the last three away games i had to jetison one of them as otherwise I risk going the way of Portsmouth so I selected the Cheltenham game to miss.

f*** off. We're s***. You wouldn't pay to see us play if you supported us. And yet I still did. Piss off.

Our performances lately have certainly had a great effect. Add the Ipswich game and the fact that money is tight meant that the turn-out yesterday wasn't so poor.

I went to Oxford to play for the fans team in the morning. I then went to Bicester with the missus.
I hate shopping, but even that was more appealing than watching another 90 minutes of s***e. I have already commited to 23 games worth (plus cup games!) and dont think i can actually bare any more without feeling the need to scoop out my own eyeballs with a rusty spoon.

Dont get wound up by Ox...there are far more informed Oxford fans on their Yellows Forum who totally understand situation..even the Oxford Mail praised the support. Thought 859 was pretty good, especially after results..two away games in last three weeks prior..and of course, as Alton said, the Ipswich factor..also mentioned by decent Oxford on their forum!

Congratulations. You are the first man in history that prefers shopping in Bicester Village with his wife to watching a game of football. Any game.

I didnt say I prefer shopping to any game... just Cobblers, its f***ing depressing. Plus it got me in the good books for if and when I might actually look forward to a game again.

The only thing that puts me off Bicester Village is that it's not under cover however the bookshop always has some crazy prices & always spend a lot in there.

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.
