Ignorance is bliss isn't it. Yes we have suffered from it as a group of fans in the past so don't you think it might be a good time to learn from our situation and indeed from your own history so I've been told and show us some common camaraderie and force the issue with your owner?
The sad truth is this time we are benefiting from the Coventry fan's misery financially so some of our fans are happy to overlook the past and any sympathy goes out the window. I'm sure the same thing would happen at any club as at the end of the day for fans theirclub comes first. If you're looking for any sympathy or support from Cobblers fans this probably isn't the place to find it as you'll just hit a brick wall of ignorance and bias from people looking to find reasons why whats happening is ok when obviously if they were an outsider looking in they would realise the coventry fans are getting royally screwed over. Its a bit like if you went on the mk dons fans forum and tried to question the circumstances in which their "club" was formed. They'd just hit you with their well rehearsed excuses about how Winkellman saved Wimbledon and Arsenal did the same thing in the 1890s or something.

I remember Macclesfield having a collection at sixfields a few years ago and actually raised more from our fans than they did when they held a collection at old Trafford.
Also remember us lot donating a fair amount to Exeter on the last game of a season a few years ago which they said helped keep them afloat.
Difference with those clubs is that they didn't spout a load of uninformed rubbish about us and then expect sympathy and help. They like us are lower league teams and we don't shout out how big we are.

No the difference is our chairman hadn't done a deal with Exeter or morecombe that forced their fans to come and watch their home games here.if you ask me weve got off lightly with a few comments on a messageboard. Imagine if Leeds or milwall were being made to play here! Grin
