Gotta take my hat off to the club for making this effort. New waterproof covers have been laid on Thursday. This match will BE ON!!!! http://www.ntfc.co.uk/news/article/pitch-6feb-1343210.aspx

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible c***’... me!

Fair play to DC for this one. We need the game to be on. Two away games after Saturday so a home game (and win) is vital. I wonder if they have taken any advice or equipment from Northants Cricket? They could borrow the super-mopper if needs be?

Desperate for this to be on...don't think I've seen a game at Sixfields since Fleetwood. Supposed to be clear and sunny in Northampton over the next couple of days. Really looking forward to it... ...oh and I miss the Malt Shovel! Ah no, there was York!

According to the photo on twitter only the middle 2/3's of the pitch is covered. Looks like they didn't order enough!

Has any consideration been given to travelling away fans? Surely if conditions are too dangerous for away fans to travel what with the floods and gales then the game should be postponed. I'm sure the fa have called off games before for this reason.

Yep. A good atmosphere, they quite often have decent bands on and much less beardy weirdy than the Malt Shovel.

Last time I was in there was after the York game. As always, up Saints' and rugby in general's arse...and a twat checking scores on his phone laughs to his mate that the Cobblers had lost!

Quite right I'm sure many people in the south of England particularly Somerset would relish the better living conditions in the Philippines right now. They can only dream of dry houses, running water and electricity. If it these floods had happened abroad we would soon have a bloody advert from the Red Cross on telly asking for donations. Because its on our own doorstep..... Bugger all This country should look after its own first and foremost. Basically my personal opinion is that it is a disgrace. I think I've got a grip on it.
