Who thinks another miracle may occur this year, with either England winning the world cup in Brazil or Northampton Town erm, avoiding the drop to the conference?

International football does not interest me in the slightest. world cups are a great infill between the end and the start of the real stuff.
By the way does anyone feel the same as me when I say that I get more patriotic watching Six nations rugby than I ever do watching international football?

Years of abject failure from the England football team have ruined the enjoyment from international matches where as the rugby team are competitive and have had some success which makes it more enjoyable.

I can't believe any TRUE football fan would sacrifice their club's success for that of their country. Shameful. Roll Eyes

You're quite right about the successes and failures of the national sides but then rugby is hardly a global Sport.

The reason egg chasers seem to get more excited when England play Rugby is because the chances of winning are higher, more to do with the fact Rugby is not a global sport and there isn't  a great deal of high calibre teams rather than them being world beaters.
