Disappointed that the terrace will be closed, given that its unallocated seating, maybe those that wish to sit, do so half way down, those wishing to stand do so at the rear, sorted Quick question, given that it wont sell out, and that seats are not reserved, the price is the same on the day , why buy tickets in advance ? Towcester NTFC, could you email Morecambe and ask them where we go in the Stadium if more than 300 turn up ?

Read it now, it seems its not so much us not taking many, as they are making over 600 seats available, more a case of they are so badly supported they need someone to sit in the stand for them. " This Stand's too big for you " seems appropriate

Not sure how someone who claims McDonalds (sp?) really are different (they're not) as if being in the U.S.A (I escaped the place when I was 3yrs old!) makes him ITK, is in a position to decide who's a 'nob' or not...baffles me!
Yes you're still a nob sometimes and yes Mc D's are different depending where you go. We already knew that so lets move on...

For goodness sake Doc we are NOT going down you heard it here 1st (I damn well hope that does not come back to haunt me)

OK, putting it simply...given your propensity for whooshing over your head...and a tiring I've got 'a bad feeling' coupled with a seeming inability to spell Torquay (using the less than amusing or clever Turkey)... you're not in much of a position to judge! See you in the next millennium, when the Cobblers next get to Wembley!

Could it possibly be that they get £4 more per travelling supporter if they all have to go in the stand rather than on the terrace.
Having said that, since the two Bingers Boys will get in for free, £19 for the three of us isn't bad. Less than half what we paid at Hartlepool - I just hope we will be less than half as bad.

Christopher Sarginson for this one. His last Cobblers game was the re-arranged victory at Torquay, prior to that it was our home defeat to the Donkeys in the Capital One Cup. I already said that he was in charge for the Torquay corresponding fixture last season when we drew 1-1, coincidentally he was in the middle for the Morecambe away game in March last year when we also drew 1-1! Deja vu?

Interesting fact. If matches were only 45 minutes long Morecambe would be bottom of the league.

After a disappointing week, we really need the Town to respond. Rochdale gave us a big beat down on tuesday night, but when you look at the games we have left the next two are very winnable. I think we need 14 points to absolutely sure of safety, but it could be less given the poor quality of the league this season. The draw to Mansfield was a missed opportunity to get 2 more extra points, so the pressure on the players has been increased and the confidence took some sapping after tuesday night. This is a big test for Wilder, he has given us hope, but is the change in menatlity from the players in recent weeks simply down to the managerial change, which often produces a burst in motivation before a return to the mean or has Wilder actually changed the players mentality on a more permanent basis? I think we will be able to answer that this week because these are probably must win games and the players confidence may be rocking, can he lift them?
Tactically we were outplayed the other night, and the team Wilder has assembled is not very flexible at the moment. He is all about making us hard to beat and using the pace of the wingers and Sinclair running in-behind to stretch teams on the counter. The absence of a tall central striker is a weakness in the squad, for me Clive Platt is a miss in this respect. Opponents have already realised we increasingly depend upon breaking into space, and not having a more direct striker is a problem when we need to simple put some balls into the box. Platt may not have scored enough goals for people's liking, but I believe his link-up skills compensated for his lack of goals. Taking our chances on the counter when the other team have committed men into our half will be extremely important to our hope of staying up.
Duke. McSweeney-Diamond-Doumbe-Robertson. Hackett - Ravenhill(c)-Carter - Dickenson. Connell - Sinclair.
Subs - Snedker, Tozer, Deegan, Morris, Lopez, Toney, Moyo.

Can you ask the club to bring back the spine of the team that they let go before the season started? Maybe then the club wouldn't be staring at the realms of non league football. I hope tayn win today but they are just as likely to take a beating. Anyway stay positive until all hope is lost. 2-3 (although I've no idea who I expect to score and if they will even have three shots).
Well done to those who've made the trip I hope the cobblers put on a brave performance.
