The loan record is not that bad: Johnson and Steele were both excellent last season. You can't have players demanding to be in the starting eleven, even if they have arrived to gain first team experience. He featured and scored in most of QPR's pre-season games yet was deemed surplus by Warnock who is a shrewd old beggar. Played so badly in the 45 mins he had in the Carling Cup that the fans were calling for him to be subbed, which he was. Clearly Warnock and Rs fans knew something wasn't right about the player.

Jannsen was ok too imo

Its an obvious point but we seem to have signed a lot of players with bad attitudes in the last 12 months or so...

No point speculating as to why this keeps happening, either way though its not good pr for the manager.

Much rather see Rodgers in the right midfield position. Maybe not the same ability but more than makes up for it with his team ethic.  What did he do wrong? Very unlucky to be dropped

Shame .. looked a decent player and better attacking option that Herbertz or Rodgers ... but if his heart wasnt in it then best we sent him back so he can play for QPR stiffs.

That may have something to do with the general attitude of football players nowadays rather than anything else!

Always were. That's what makes the few who aren't, so memorable and iconic: Gleasure, Warburton, Sammo, Grayson, Bayo etc. Legends, not time-wasters.

Definitely the right decision to send him back. Didn't impress enough to be considering an undroppable key player (And IMO didn't even impress enough to get ahead of an on-form Rogers). If he was going to have a strop because he wasn't automatically selected despite not showing enough ability when given the chance, then we certainly don't need him.

The problem with Rodgers on the right side of midfield is that despite his pace and great work ethic he struggles to beat defenders one on one and his final ball is often poor.  That seems to me to be the reason Parker came but the lad has an atttitude problem so back he goes to QPR.  I expect Neil Warnock will have a few choice words with him.  I am not Rodgers greatest fan but I thought he was our best player on Saturday playing in his natural right back position.  Johnson needs to up his game to keep that position.
