Follow your own advice and support the club not the owners.
Difference being ours will make a very healthy return and given us with a ground that's better in being self sufficient. We haven't gone down yet so, whilst there's still hope we will continue to fight. Must admit to writing that after a party at the Crawley green fc club in Luton and had to suffer night of complete piss take. We have to stay up and kick on next season.

If they were playing in a park I would go, there are some habits you cannot change after 44 years. Agreed - we have been served up s***e during most of that time so makes little difference what division - it's a habit!

.....Hatter fans slightly despondent at the last two performances (not results) - and who do the miss the most? - the man Mr Boothroyd clearly didn't want or think was good enough for L2.......

I know from a reliable source that Mr Boothroyd wanted to keep Guttridge but was told that he could not unless he was offered substantially less money.

I think it was agreed a while ago that Boothroyd knew what his budget was and it was up to him how he spent it .

That's not how it works. You have a total budget, if you want to blow it all on just a few select players you can. It's easy to offer somebody a contract that you know they wont take, then you get rid of them but can always fall back on the "Well I wanted to keep them". Anyway, it wasn't Guttridge we needed, it was a midfielder BETTER than Guttridge. Boothroyd thought that was Carter, or Deegan, or Morris.

I will go to most home games ( 200 mile trip) and selected away games.
As a way of comparison I saw Aldershot Town , relegated last year, struggle and lose at Braintree Town yesterday with tremendous away support of several hundreds boosting the gate to nearly 1100. A real eye opener......now that could be us.
Admission was for a Grade A game £16 (that would surely be us )....£10 for concessions to ground standing terraces......no segregation !!.

Probably not, might go to the odd away game here and there but only for the new ground factor, certainly no home games. But that would be the same if we stay up. Over the last few years I've started to get less and less excited about going to football and football in general, even last season was dull IMO. Also when I think about it I can spend £20/30 on something more enjoyable than going to Sixfields.

The standard really isn't that different between league 2 and the Conference. I will continue to go to as many games as I can because unfortunate as it may be, I support Northampton Town.

I love the 'it's always been crap, because that's how it is' type comments.
Apathy and acceptance of mediocrity at its best.

As long as there are games to be played featuring the Cobblers I will continue to go. Maybe select only a few away games though I think.

Probably now certifiably mad but yes I will be at the home games whoever we are playing , just hope the ST prices are sensible. May well take in a few away games as well. Who knows ? we might even be able to thrash somebody in the conference....... now that would be something

If we go down, any remaining faith I have in the chairman will be severely tested as will my willingness to put time and money into attending matches.
A simple price cut wouldn't be enough for me. I'd need to see a proper mind set and strategy overhaul in the way the club goes about its business to keep me coming back.
