With the total inability of Sinclair and Connell to compete consistently for headers then we MUST throw the dice one last time to acquire a target man!
It showed last night when Diamond was pushed on we scored within 5 minutes from a knockdown and nearly again after the equaliser when Sinclair hit the post.

I would even take a short term solution of an experienced player like Bayo who I think would be a 'marmite' signing but could prove effective during the last group of games.

To be fair, if Bayo did come back and scored some goals to keep us up, that would go a little way to erasing the nightmare memory of Wembley and the team selection. I'd take the Bayo of the Cheltenham semi-final games any time, but he may be twice the man and half the footballer he was then.

I doubt it. He's in and around the starting 11, and always in the match day squad at Gills. Can't see him coming home again. . . . I wouldn't say no, though. . . . him, or someone big and strong LIKE him, would certainly be of benefit to us for the run in.

Not really , he never played regularly for us to get subbed off. I think he could be on a "pay as you play" deal at Bury and that's why he manages to play Sat-Tues-Sat for them !

..........but the ball sticks like sh*te when hit toward him. Anyway please advise who we could realistically get in capable of scoring 15 goals a season, a game changer and one who lifts the crowd when he comes on? Or are you putting personal prejudices first in lieu of an realistic appraisal of where we are at the moment.

Lets face it , Bayo is the most effective  forward we've had in this century. The best hold up player we've since Benji plus he gets a goal every other game .Why on earth would we want him back when we have so many other options Huh?

Is it player bayo or brand bayo? Both very different. One worth having, the other not so much

Heard last night that deal to get Bayo back is very close.I was mistakenly pleased to see him go but would be even happier to have him back as he could keep us in the league with Sinclair  playing off of him.
