Maybe I'm just in an argumentative, pissed off mood from spending so much money and travelling the length of this country to see utter rubbish for football.

The last goal at Hereford was soft, and the first was a little soft too. I think Jansson would have saved them.

Their second goal is the only one I would put Dunn at obvious fault for. A good keeper would've saved the feeble shot coming his way and not flapped at it and fumbled it out for a corner which lead to the goal.

But what about blaming the player who lost the ball to enable the Ipswitch player to have the shot that Dunn fumbled for the corner that they scored from?   Tongue

Your take on goalkeeping is obviously different to mine.  Wink

I wouldn't brag about that!

I agree 100%! He is slow and will get beaten for pace but like you say, all things considered! At least he looked solid, at least he was where he was meant to be most of the time!
Bizarre though that he got the captaincy, seeing as he'd been out for so long, just getting through the game was enough for him to be worrying about! So the Gilly captaincy experiment didnt work?? Or maybe its like my 9 year-olds Saturday team, different captain every game, just to make sure nobody feels left out!

He may be slow, but he makes up for it in his positional play. Rarely out of position all night. The late great Booby Moore wasn't the fastest, but his positional play was magnificent. Not that I would compare Hinton to Booby Moore mind you  Smiley

Not that bizarre. He has been the CLUB captain all year.
