If they vote for independence and leave Great Britain, they'll have to rejoin Europe as a separate entity. If they are then not accepted then their players will be classed as foreigners and will have to meet the criteria as such. In these circumstances I could see far less Scottish players plying their trade south of the border.

You would also have to ask, would people like the BBC keep reporting their league to the extent they do now? I mean, we don't here much about France or Southern Ireland sporting teams do we?

How many jocks have played for us I wonder? Off the top of hairless head I can think of the great Bu Bu Buchanan, Chris Doig, David Rowson and erm... There must be loads more.
