Typical that we want to sell him. We always cash in on our goalscorers. Sell Tony instead.

Inspite of scoring with his head, I'd agree he is really poor in the air. That's one area where Toney is much better. Think we should start with Sinclair and Richards at Bournemouth.

I would think that with Wilder putting him for a transfer, it's possible that it may have given Sinclaire ''a kick up the backside'' That may have been the reason for his effort in the game.

He has always appeared to put effort in to me. I wouldn't question his commitment, and don't suppose he enjoys sitting on the bench

Definitely lack of confidence more than anything, but he does also have limitations (he's never going to be a target man). Would be nice to see him back to the level he showed on his first couple of games here.

Wilder after the game spoke of the need to balance the books.
I am probably in the minority but I really like Sinclair. With Nicholls possibly being loaned out to Exeter I would like to think that Sinclair has a part to play going forward

Agree with this. With no sign of anyone to replace either of them letting both of them go out on loan seems a bit risky.

The answer to that is in his hand's, when he come on, perform, to his credit he may have done that on Saturday.

Agreed, there seems to be lot's of talk from CW about balancing the books and it seems we now need to loan players out a bit too quickly. A few days ago Sinclair was off out on loan now "supersub" Sinclair's staying? I don't think given the choice CW would want to loan out anyone or give players such a mixed message. CW seems to have some budget pressure on him from above, you would hope to think if he wanted to bring someone in he could without having to ship too many out first. We've seen already how quick a few injuries can change the team.

Oh, don't you love spin. Wilder says... “The chairman is a fantastic guy and he wants to back us but I don’t want to keep going to him and that’s not the way I work anyway.
“It’s important that we balance the books and we don’t want this club to spend money and then have a struggle so part of my job is that we balance.”and AMD manages to turn that into the Chairman putting pressure on his manager. You ought to be a politician.

Am I right in thinking today was from a header?
Your next job Defender is saying he will never score a hattrick.
very good header as well - please please Defender do what Bingers suggests.............."is saying he will never score a hattrick."

I find it really odd that Wilder has said that 'we can’t expect the amount of injuries that we’ve had - Portsmouth and Shrewsbury haven’t had those injuries.'
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but barring Carter and Hackett (who missed one game) have we actually had an injury to one of our first choice players? Langers, Nicholls and Hornby are long term issues and were always going to take time to reintegrate into the squad. Perhaps Wilder is exaggerating the problem in order to manage expectations.
Anyway, personally, unless CW has a very decent replacement lined up (i.e. a powerful target man), I'd like to see Sinclair stay. I was bit concerned at his failure to score in pre-season (even against the likes of Sileby) but there's doubt that he showed against Torquay and Southend that he can be a very good player at this level. Wilder needs to fire him up and let him know that this is probably his last chance to get his career back on track.

I think Wilder believes Sinclair has a major part to play. Whether he's right or wrong may go a long way in deciding the final outcome to our season.

If he can drive and knows the way to Swansea he may well go a long way in deciding the final outcome to our season.
