Marquis also adds a bit of bite and niggle that makes us difficult to play against

Millwall staying in the Championship today may help our cause?

Great decision to sub Marquis who was about 30 seconds away from a red card.

Diamond has been a shining example of exactly what we need.

Marquis would be a great buy for us. His goal-scoring record isn't great so maybe he won't be in other teams headlights at the moment, but the win rate with him in the team and the win rate without is probably significant.

Oxford fans seem pretty convinced that Wilder will go in for Jake Wright, though they have an option on him so maybe just putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5?

Was glad he came to his senses and applauded the fans though. Hopefully we see him back. Anyone else think he looks a lot like Gareth Bale?

Diamond the best of the bunch for me. Marquis could become a very profitable investment though. There's definitely goals in him as he matures and gets more games under his belt.

No problem with Horwood either by the way. He's been excellent. I actually think McGregor has been a very solid performer too.

I saw Joe Widdowson today and realised I had completely forgotten about him.

Would love to see them stay. Hopefully we could sort a season loan for marquis, don't think we could buy him.

I don't know if we could buy Marquis but we should certainly leave no stone unturned in trying to do so.

He's a fantastic player, just what we need and I don't think it's going too far as to say we wouldn't be a football league club now if he hadn't come back to join us after being briefly re-called my Millwall.

Would love to see Diamond and Horwood back next season too.

If this is reliable, Marquis signed a 3 year contract with Millwall in 2011 so might be out of contract? Obviously they would want a fee though if they do let him go with him being under 24. Could we afford him?

Marquis reminds me of Lee Barnard.

He reminds me of Marc Richards.

I never really rated Barnard while he was with us.

I'm led to believe the loan system is getting a major change next season which doesn't help lower league clubs, not sure of the exact details but sure I read it somewhere?

The signing of Diamond was a turning point of the season, and how many defenders enjoy playing against Marquis?
