Can't knock Man City at all.
Disappointed that Chelsea never come out of it better after dealing with the top teams quite well.
Liverpool deserve some credit, as nobody would have put them second at the start of the season.
Next season looks like being a two horse race at the moment. Man Utd will still be rebuilding. Arsenal will drop off two thirds of the way through and I'm afraid Liverpool had their chance this year.
With both Man City and Chelsea looking to strengthen and Suarez allegedly on his way to Madrid. It look like I'm might be doubly happy, as apposed to just enjoying the Cobblers surviving.
Well done City..

If Chelsea had a striker, they would have walked it. Disappointing results against the likes of Villa/Sunderland etc. Bring on the world cup now!

I agree with Wolvo that if Chelsea had a half decent striker they would more than likely have won the title. I have to admit out of three teams going for it they were the 'duller' ones, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with grinding out wins.
Liverpool deserve a lot of credit for the way they have played, and especially for doing so with a number of English players that have given me a bit of confidence that the future isn't so bleak at all. What's more encouraging is that these were so-called 'maligned' players like Sturridge and Henderson who have shown - with a decent bit of coaching - that English players do have the talent to compete at the top.
You can mock them and their fans all you like, but they seem to have a manager who knows what he's doing. The spine of that team - with the exception of Gerrard - are all still pretty young so I wouldn't bet against them challenging again next year.
The difference in becoming champions like Man City have is a decent defence and having a plan B. Liverpool's plan A is pretty good, but when they came unstuck against Chelsea there was no alternative like, dare I say Andy Carroll, for them to try and win the game with a different approach. City have everything in that they can play neat intricate football, but also go direct to Dzeko in a way that isn't aimless hoofball if that's the style that's needed. Have to say it's a bit disappointing that they have used hardly any English players, but the team who is top on the final day deserve to be there so congratulations to them.

That is the one thing I am happy for. I know far too many Liverpool 'fans' and only one Man City fan. Watching Gerrard fall over at Chelsea was comedy gold.

I must have missed something because I didn't see a single Liverpool player say they were going to win it. If you find me some evidence of that I'm more than happy to change my mind. As for the supporters, you can find the idiot fans from every club if you want to find them, which I rather suspect you did
