Just wanted to wish Orient well and hope they enjoy their day out at Wembley.

A deserved victory over the scum and justice done for finishing 18 points better off than the six fingered sister fuckers. Another little sweetener to the end of the season.  Grin

Spent over £1m on a single player as part of one of the biggest budgets in that league and yet outplayed over two leagues by little Leyton Orient.

To be fair the player they spent a million on scored 33 goals in 57 appearances....does that show what you need to spend to get you goals? It also shows that it was others who didn't do their job for the Pish.....including Fergie Jr.

Plus Assombalonga is still only 21.....he'll probably get sold on for 3 or 4 times that initial mililon....thereby giving them the money to spend on another big budget next season.

Much as I hate them I am more than a little envious of there flirtation with the Championship, steady seasons in LEague 1, and their transfer policy of paying decent money for "kids" and selling them on at a  large profit (some of the time!)

When you sell Gayle to Palace for £6m, is buying a replacement for a million really that bad a deal?! 2012/13 sold Taylor to Ipswich for 1.5m, 2011/12 sold Bennett to Norwich for £3m....then the likes of MaClean, Mackail-Smith, Boyd et al...

All that said though......

Well done the Orient!!

I was in the land that time forgot this afternoon. Not as many smiles as there usually is over there in our depot. Until I walked in of course

Was pointed to have a look at the "Peterborough - Fail" thread on Brizzle City's forum.

It seems they're equally hated in other parts of the country, here's just a couple of choice quotes from City fans...

"Their Chairman is an Irish con man. Their Manager is akin to a turd (no disrespect meant to all the other turds out there). Please explain what is there to like about them ?"

"vile players vile fans vile manager vile chairman vile club I hope they get relegated"

"Didn't like them even before moving up here, they all seem to be strangely smug, arrogant and the place is horrendous too. Makes Northampton look like Knightsbridge. No wonder the locals dislike them."  Grin

A nice 4.5 million profit for the Posh which could rise to 7.5 million. Not bad for a years work!

That's what happens when you take a gamble on these youngsters, they occasionally make you huge profits.

Like most things, not many people will pay for something someone picked up for free.
