Well done for answering everyone's posts on here and actively doing something about the points we've raised, fair play to you and I hope this all proves successful. I'll definitely consider buying a ticket on Saturday.

Me too, good work Phil, the Club could do with more people like you.

And of course, if you cant find Phil, i'll be outside the away end Grin
Tyler is making his debut! Expecting very large, vocal away crowd, so we need to meet buses when they arrive and at ticket office to tempt them with prize - need more volunteers plus ideas of special prize please from anyone? Phil

@WFCobbler - You should sell 50:50 tickets around the press benches too. They do at a lot of away clubs I go to, and none of the journalists ever say no (even though we are, on the whole, pretty skint!)

...and of course Jefferson you have played footie with & against me at Moulton! I was on my way there when some idiot tried to kill me, so I never did beat Sir Stanley Matthews record but got close!

Remember the pre-match warm-up (what?) I introduced a fanatical Cobblers fan to you as a fellow fan, who then asked you "So, mate, do you go to the games then?". I'm afraid I still crease up laughing at his error! Someone rude would ask that Q about your reports but me ?  no  never!

We are really short on volunteers and have none INSIDE yet (I mean stands not strangeways!). But love your suggestion - how many?

But can we please ambush you outside ground? I don't mind selling you £20 quids worth for you to re-sell inside? deal or no deal?  Skint! - I lost my job 'cos of that idiot! and still await the compo after 4 years.

Anyway, be great to say hi again, my piccy in Chron tonight so no excuse to walk past me - as you probably read sports section!!!?

I'll be roaming west stand from 1.20pm, then 2.10 pm at WT memorial.

I wrote last month asking "dare you put Cobblers score in your press facilities league table?" or suggest ask opponents to grade us!? we may even be top of something!!?

Thank you for reminding me of happy times playing soccer but lordy I miss it.

FIVE prizes at H/T drawn by a different PAST HERO PLAYER. 1st PRIZE 50% cash pot (HIGHEST OF SEASON?.

Even got one prize for PV fans ONLY - to hope entice sales off them (TYLER take note).

Winning numbers on Tannoy, then on board carried around pitch!, (then hope from Stockport game will be on signs around exits points of stadium / stairwells etc so you can check on way out).  Then go for 50% burger on way home if you've lost!!.

Then winners posted on NTFC website and on this forum.

I hope to have a separate THREAD on here set up just for the results to help folk find them... Comments stay elsewhere.

DO I NEED TO ASK SOMEONE TO LIMIT USERS OF THAT NEW THREAD ??

Phil

PS: I hope to get FREE PARK & EAT vouchers for games - just sorry that miracles taking bit longer to deliver! anything ELSE wanted?

I had the added reponsibility of selling the seperate away 50:50 tickets so i wasnt given any programmes. I thought it'd be good exercise for you to walk round after buying a programme Grin

Congrats on the 50:50 scheme. I actually saw a fair few sellers today and the whole thing is much simpler

I'd have bought from you, Tyler, but I thought it'd be more appropriate to get my tickets from Phil who was down near the Remembrance memorial, however God doesn't love me because I promptly lost both my tickets!!!

I'd have thought the club would have been be more pro-active by giving big printed boards to each seller which stated all the prizes and extras, plus the fact that each "losing" ticket was still worth twice what you paid when used at MacDonalds. The point of sale impact needs to be much greater, you can't expect each seller to tell each potential buyer what's on offer. It isn't an impossible aim to get a take of £1,000 (ie £500 extra for the club) on many games.
Having said all that, it was a terrific success by the sellers and Phil in particular to be able to increase the prize pot so dramatically, and the club is to be congratulated for taking the extra help on board. So often in the past they've been blinkered about good customer liaison.

Match day experience.......

First time, not only this season but for a long time that I've been to Sixfields, the atmosphere was a lot better than it was whenever the last time was I was there.  There was actually noise and people seemed happy to be there, although the incessent chanting for Enoch Showamni Tongue was a bit annoying after a while.  Did think it was funny that the North Stand noise was orchastrated by a 10 year old in the second half  Grin

Was going to buy a 50/50 ticket, didn't see any sellers outside the ground, but then I got there at quarter to 3.  Expected to find one inside the ground, but didn't.

All in all a good game, a good and enjoyable afternoon and for the first time for a couple of years I actually enjoyed being at Sixfields and left thinking that I really should make more effort to get back on the rare weekends when I'm not working.

This feedback is useful, seeing as its only the second game that Phil and myself have been trying to get the ball rolling with 50:50 so any sort of feedback good or bad will be very useful!!  There were about 5/6 50:50 sellers yesterday, all roaming apart for myself in the tavern!

You problem getting a ticket will be sorted as of the next home game! We're aim to have a seller with-in the ground come 2.30-2.45!

Thank you again for your support! If we keep adding £50 every game, that will be brilliant!

If you keep going like this you'll have enough to cover the cost of the fine from the FA we're heading towards for all the red cards

Ditto. I was all prepared to buy a couple as promised but couldn't see anybody selling them. Well done to those involved. Great to see the results on the board paraded at the front of the West Stand after HT.

I got my 50:50 tickets from sellers at the bottom of the steps, they were my stepson's so I got a text to tell me where they were. The results board was paraded around the whole ground by my two stepson's

I think there should be seller(s) outside the North stand because I always leave the Tavern and take a short cut down the bank (perhaps more people in the North stand do they same?). That said its clearly getting better and the I can see the prize  pot growing for the Stockport game.

PS. It was good to meet Phil (wfcobbler) after the game!
