A reduction in programme price would be the one most welcome move. At £3 we never buy one.
Even on your wages..?

I thought the blindfold football thing last season was pretty good, i even won it I also liked the penalty shoot out which had someone from each side taking pens. I won that too

Yeah, I'm sure the diecting was hard: "...lift the blindfold just a little bit...not too far...don't make it obvious...."!

Why not include the programme as a freebie, part of purchasing an adult ticket? I bet the advertising covers the printing costs.

I think the idea is that the advertising makes the club money rather than just cover costs

Just get a winning team on the pitch, then nothing else will matter.

Stick the programme up £1 & print a raffle number on it with a regular winning amount.
Why not sell programmes when we enter the car park so you can pay to park & but programme in one go.

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

Has the prizes for the 50:50 always been notified on the team news article on the official site, or has in just appeared since this thread. I honestly don't know as I haven't been interested in it, but noticed it today since reading this thread.

50:50. Oxford sold 2000 @ £1 so 1st prize = £1000 yes cool grand and 23 times a season! Also 50% to club = £23k/season = a player wage!! OK crowd higher. NTFC last sold 240 = £120 prize - obvious more we sell bigger ££. So, lets all buy each game and see how high prize gets. Also have 2nd & 3rd prizes. Problems being addressed. More comments on thread?

Great ideas here going STRAIGHT to club. To sell at car park would hold up traffic, prog sellers - club know can't do 50:50 lottery too - hence ad for helpers. MARVO - add-ons make team more successful at any level, even Man U! Send in articles for club programe based on Oxford etc - won't improve unless we do it. New Programme stalls due, style on Ipswich wheelie types. Sales booths coming inside ground too. Please contribute to pay for new players & win prizes! Interaction will improve - more ideas please!

So are you sending these idea's to the club? We already pay over inflated prices for tickets to watch over paid players return below par performances so should we really be expected to pay more. Esspecialy as i don't trust those in charge to spend the extra money wisely. I understand where your coming from but we already know that throwing money at something wont guarantee success, hence why the club owe DC 7-8 million quid

There WILL be a 50:50 draw tomorrow at the game as im sure you will have seen on the website.
1st Prize - Half the Pot 2nd Prize - A meal for two in the executive restaurant after the Port Vale match (13th Nov) 3rd Prize - A £40 voucher for Casa Blanca restaurant in town.
Tickets will be available tomorrow from around 1.30pm, they will be available around the programme sellers, inside the ground and several will be roaming around so keep your eyes peeled and get involved! If there are any locations in particular you feel should have a seller, feedback would be appreciated!
THE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS.... THE MORE TICKETS WE SELL, THE MORE MONEY THAT GOES BACK IN OUR CLUB, SO WHEN YOU BUY YOUR MATCH TICKET OR YOUR PROGRAMME OR YOUR ITEMS AROUND THE GROUND, PUT YOUR HAND IN THE YOUR POCKET AND HELP OUT! I APPRECIATE TIMES ARE HARD AND TICKETS CAN BE EXPENSIVE, AS I SAID, THE MORE MONEY IN, THE MORE MONEY BACK INTO THE CLUB (TO PUT TOWARDS POSSIBLY WAGES ON PLAYERS ETC ETC ETC)
Oh and... GOOD LUCK, WHO WILL BE THE FIRST WINNER?!

Yeah it does make you sick !! My matchday experience, avoid the Sixfields area beween 1 and 6 , go to the park with little one, play golf or watch big one play football. <----- Love the Glenville Donegal smiley

Even on your wages..? That's REALLY funny! You'd die laughing if you knew what I was paid. As a per-hour amount I can assure you it works out considerably less than the minimum hourly wage for an 18-year-old, then by the time I pay out the considerable expenses of what I do, that becomes a massive loss. The point is that when I write about the Cobblers, the motivation is the love of doing it, and I'm happy with that. Incidentally, I have no criticism of anyone who employs me, but I do of people who make assumptions as to my income.
