Gillingham looked like we did when we had Bayo, aim at Bayo and hope it sticks.

Why do we have to be loyal, my boss isn't "loyal" to me. He pays my wages, I do a job for him, that's it. You lot really need to see this for what it is, a business.

Marvo - once you leave a job do you then become a complete arse to your old boss?

Personally when I see one of my old bosses I'm (generally) pleased to see them. Will shake them by the hand and have a chat.

I don't see why a set of fans can't do the same equivalent at the football which I suppose would be to clap Bayo before the game politely if they so choose (which it appears a number did)?

How many jobs have you had, I haven't left a job in over 30 years and as far as I can remember I've never met a former boss. As they were all a fair bit older than me I guess most would be dead by now, I certainly wouldn't recognise any of them and if I did, I doubt I'd applaud them.

On a techinical point, Bayo wasn't the fans boss, he was actually more like an employee so you have to ask yourself, would you applaud a former employee of yours if you saw them in the street?

No, but you most likely wouldn't boo them and chant "you fat bastard" at them either. Grin

Very true.

Unless of course you felt they let you down by leaving? Irrational I know but there you have it.

How many jobs I've had isn't massively relevant other than the industry I work in means that moving happens.

If we are talking equivalents then I'd certainly go up to a former employee, have a chat with him and not be a total bastard to him.

On a completely unrelated note, why do I always start stupid f***ing analogies?  Huh?
