Good to see the club have saved a squad number for alex nicholls if and when he earns a contract in pre-season. After the injury he had this is very positive news. Cheesy

Good Luck Alex. Smiley

If anything the whole episode proves that there is some heart left in football , especially in the smaller clubs.
Good luck Alex , hope to see you firing next season.

Fingers crossed for him....

I know squad numbers generally don't mean much but its surprising to see Diamond at 16 and Mohamed at 23...

I cannot see Diamond or Mohammed particularly caring what number they are. There experienced pros who know moving to a new club you aren't choosing your number ahead of someone like Langmead etc.

Great to see from CW that he is giving him a solid crack at this. He isn't just letting him make numbers up.

I hope he has a good pre season injury free and can show what he can do.

He just posted this message...after that horrendous "tackle" it would have been some achievement just to even walk again, nevermind play a professional sport. Cannot wait for him to don the claret & white again Smiley

That is pretty amazing clip. He should send it to that @rsehole McCombe along with a massive bill for damages.

Regardless of his future he is a great example of hard work. I had a similar break playing football when I was younger and this is the sort of story which would have inspired me to get fit and carry on.

Really looking forward to giving him a standing ovation for his first game and hope he follows in Aaron Ramsey's footsteps by going on to be an even better player than he already was.

Do you remember what an exciting player he was? Can't wait.

If Nicholls can prove his fitness and earn himself a contract it would be amazing. I would be absolutely delighted and even more impressed with the squad if he signed on too.
