Hi Guys, I am compiling a new fans guide for the coming season and am after real fans views of which are the best pubs on match days for both home fans & visiting supporters. Which are the "main pubs" for home fans around the ground..? Can you let me know the best 5 or so around the ground please and any local establishments that particularly cater for and welcome visiting supporters - pubs, restaurants, parking facilities attractions etc.
Also, any suggestions of pubs that you have visited at other away grounds which are good for away supporters on match days would be great. Many thanks Rob

How do expect him to find out what pubs the supporters like without asking them?

How do expect him to find out what pubs the supporters like without asking them? (1) Visit the stadia and/or (2) use a pre-existing resource such as http://www.footballgroundguide.com/ which has been collating, aggregating and updating this exact information (all provided by users/fans field reports) for nearly 20 years.

So just to be clear.. you don't think its okay to ask for opinions for the guide but you do advocate copying someone else's research?

Is The Sevens any good? Can't say I've had a reason to go in since it changed from the Rover?

I don't watch soaps, but I do know a few people that have watched Home and Away since it first arrived on our screens.

What you need is some sort of a guide which may feature a bit of a review of it

Talking of decent pubs, has anyone been Princess Alexandra since it's been refurbished?
Best beer in town.

Personally reckon Sevens is pretty s***e, though talking to some Banbury based Saints fans in Oxford (yes!) who loved the place. Becket getting better and better on the ale front...and as mentioned by SBC, can't beat the Malt Shovel for choice of ales and foreign beers.

Of course not forgetting the fabulous up coming dedicated "away supporters" bar located at the brand new Sixfields.
A great selection of beers, delicious food, excellent service by pretty girls with a smile, and all the pre-matchday build up screened live from the Sky Sports newsroom. Where else would an away supporter want to be?
If Carlsberg did away supporters bars...
There you go Dave, we'll all try and help with the PR, now go talk to Carlsberg.
