Results are irrelevant in pre-season. We beat Leicester 2-1 this time last season and won virtually all our other games as well. They finished at the top of the football league pyramid; we spent most of the season at the bottom.
However, pre-season games do often throw up areas in need of attention, and on the evidence of the last three (Alloa, Sheffield and Cogenhoe) CW still has some work to do in terms of improving the team's ability to create chances.

Dry bobbly pitch, long grass and hot. Mostly kids and first teamers who will probably get more splinters from the bench than playing time this season. Sinclair and Nicholls had little possession or chances. We could still be playing now without scoring. David Moyo looked the sharpest and most talented player on show.

I think someone should just take this city of Peterborough and just... just flush it down the f***in' toilet
