I don't agree that Seb had a 'mare' at Shrewsbury - he started shakily but was settling and it was a terrible bit of mis-management to take him off so early. That said, I'm still not sure he's the answer at centre back, although he might have a role up front as an impact sub.

Suspect the French strikers are youngsters....i know Eric Sabin arranged a game of young French lads v Kettering in pre season, perhaps its a couple of lads from there....

Experienced centre half who we would have heard of is training with us apparantly, not match fit though apparantly, anyone care to guess who it is?
According to today's Chron, he was with a league 1 club last year. I also read on sky sports that Adriano Basso (formerly Bristol City's keeper who was released earlier this year) is on the lookout for a new club and is willing to listen to any offers that come his way. We could do with a new cult hero and Dunn has failed to impress me in recent weeks.

I'm more bothered about these two French strikers?
Are we getting Armand One back in?
I hear he is banging in the goals for Stranraer in the Scottish 3rd Division now. Sign him up!

Chron also says Ben Tozer could be on his way back

Andy Butler would be a great shout. Didn't he play for Blackpool in their play-off final in May? Clearly good enough to play at a higher level than League Two but will probably consider us now we're in November and he's not got a contract (much like Peter Gilbert last season) so definitely one we ought to look into.

Yes it is Powell who is training with us for the last 10days BUT surely the priority is a striker or strikers as we have a good but half fit McKenzie and McKay who is unable to influence a game because he has no strength or pace (at best an inpact sub).

There's quite alot of French strikers on trial at the moment, something to do with the new pension age.

Just like buses no centre half scores for ages then three in a trot almost Tozer, Holt & now Beckwith.

Do you know what "Nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent personified in this case by a sex starved voyeur that is Tyro.

I guess you're right Karl but we sent him home early so I wonder if he was still technically "our" player?
