That's hardly surprising now is it? Its an arduous and dangerous journey, you wouldn't expect the old men, women and children to take it on. Also they are the people we need as a country, fit young men able to work (if you let them), not people relying on the welfare state. You do come across a little slow witted at times. No offence.
No wonder they want to come here, they get a free house, free 3 meals a day, free branded designer clothes, free healthcare, and just for good measure a debit card loaded with cash to spend £200 per month. That’s more than some of the worse off that were born here, disgusting.

There are probably around 8-10 teams who have the lowest budgets in the league with not much between any of them, we are definitely one of them. Whether we are near the top or bottom of that group there probably isn’t a a big enough difference to give the teams a significant competitive advantage. Like as has already been said turnover is the key to pushing up the transfer budget, although the most important method and one we fail badly in compared to a lot of teams in the league hasn’t been mentioned, transfer income. Oxford have nearly raked in 20m in transfer income in the last 8 years to our 1M which equates to roughly an extra £2m a year of extra turnover.
We’ve had a lot more than Goodes £1m, Toney £600k, Chucks to villa £600k, Chucks to Chelsea £2m, that’s off the top of my head, I’m sure some other youngsters have been sold in the last 8 years. It’s the capacity of sixfields and lack of sky boxes that’s killing us.

Yes but Carr brought those players to the club in the same way Brady has his own team, apart from Hoskins of course who was already here but considering what a major influence he has become on the team and their success that hardly helps your argument.
They found an egg when they were digging the foundations for Sixfields, it hatched and Sammy the imp was born, he’s been here ever fuçking since.

Absolutely - I think even the most ardent BBC hater would struggle to suggest the above report is not true.
The small boat problem (which of course needs addressing) and the Rwanda nonsense reflects on a tiny proportion of the issue and is simply a dog whistle to the racists and ill informed - despite Manny suggesting it was ridiculous, my comment on high rates of immigration being a deliberate action from this increasingly right wing government are clearly shown to be true.
Of course always easy to be a critic so what's the solution - for me, immigration is necessary (just look at the overall declining birth rates and labour shortages in so many essential sectors) but outside genuine asylum it should be a points based system based on skill/labour needs (rather than purely income) - there should also be a necessity for proper integration and very importantly the infrastructure of the UK should be improved to provide for an increased but necessary population increase - and its this point that the current administration continue to spectacularly and deliberately fail on.
You leftists seem to have lost your marbles, there’s a massive difference between immigration via a points system and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS many of whom are criminals and or terrorists. As for quoting the BBC 😂 they are about as credible as their lead newscaster Hugh Edwards, now what’s he up to these days? Anyway here’s some FACTS for you to be going on with….. https://www.nationalcrimeagency.gov.uk/what-we-do/crime-threats/organised-immigration-crimeThere were 53,000 illegal immigrants arriving in the UK in 2023 of these 87% were men under 40https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/irregular-migration-to-the-uk-year-ending-june-2023/irregular-migration-to-the-uk-year-ending-june-2023

Wasn’t at the game today so can’t comment too much on his performance but what a ball by Appere to Hoskins.
I would hand Appere a contract, he’s still young and is a runner. Divided opinions amongst fans but in my opinion he’s well worth a deal & one I think we would regret if we let go.
Tried hard today, not for me, there’s better out there, squad player at best.

I’m not sure what realistic living wage is anymore. My team all earn around £36k a year. Some may have not made the greatest life choices but at least half of them live month to month, with half a dozen hardship cases. Don’t they reckon a couple need £50k a year in retirement now to have a good standard of living? I can never work that one out, assuming they haven’t got a mortgage.
I spend more than that on the Buckie.

If we did allow citizens of all the countries that had at some point been British, to have British citizenship, ie, rebuild the Empire, that would solve a lot of the small boats issue. Most of those wanting to come here would be legally allowed to, so could just get on a plane or ferry. That would look good on the statistics. It would also help to solve the problem of not enough workers prepared to do difficult jobs for low pay. Perhaps suggest it to your mate Mr Sunak. Mind you, the majority of these people will not be white, so the right of the party probably won't like it.
Surely you not inferring that we exploit these people by getting them to do difficult jobs for low pay comrade Bingers?

An incentive to increase the capacity and turnover.
Exactly mate, capacity AND turnover, which means boxes and a 7 day a week operation, e.g. Gym open to the public, a polyclinic, concerts, fans village, etc etc.

Here is a genuine question for you all, what role should town centres of the future have? They are not going to be like the shopping destinations of old, so what should all the empty buildings become?
I have no real answers, but would like to hear bright ideas.
The trend is to have a shop that you can’t buy from and has no stock, but you can try on or test their products and talk to experts, then go and order online. Samsung have one of these near Kings Cross.

It's working - I'm fuming at the mere thought of it. I need to lay down in a darkened room.
PS At least that means 9 less to brain wash vulnerable others. Every cloud!
Yeah, what we need is a nanny state to tell us how to think, NO THANKS.

Sorry Manwork, I completely understand the ability to by cynical, but I'm not trusting a website with absolutely zero sources or any fathomable ability to have an inside information, compared to the EFL Communication being sent around the clubs in November saying we're factually 18th.
Have you seen this letter?

Didn't KT say we were 18th or 19th?
Anyway, this annual list is flawed, includes loan players for whom we will never know what proportion (if any) we are paying for their wages, I think we can be pretty sure that NTFC are not paying Simpson £4.6k a week, or Leonard £3.9k a week.
KT the man who promises low and delivers high 😂
