Good post Bungle. Pundits on MOTD said Palace were down, at least they've given themselves a fighting chance. I agree we need a managerial change (nothing against AK I just think this job is too big for him) some positive meaningful, statements from DC and get a siege mentality going. Palace seem to have done this and have an amazing atompshere at Selhurst Park. It's not too late, my big concern is as fans we have no idea whats going on at our club. IE the sacking of AB over the phone! To stay up we all need to be in this together The Board, fans & the players. Time to step up to the plate and show some pride.

Thought Tozer & Collins did well today. McGinty did ok for first game. Amankwaah, find it hard believe that he's a pro footballer. no wonder Exeter got shot. The penalty incident so bad, player going nowhere so this idiot decides to dive in & bring him down. HE SHOULD NEVER WEAR OUR SHIRT AGAIN!

Apologies about Giles Coke Owl. My point was it appears to me that when some players have done the rounds in leagues 1&2 it seems (especially the forwards) go to the Scottish Prem. Coke took full advantage of a loophole in the bosman ruling to do very nicely out of it. It works in reverse as well, Deegan, Scottish Prem last season with a reasonable big club (Hibs) and he ends up here! Back to the thread i'm not knocking Billy McKay at all, my point is nobody came in for him in England so, like the others mentioned Vernon, Heffernan etc they ply their trade north of the border in, a so called Premer Division.

+1. McKay is decent however like Marvo/Ryan said it's Scotland. Scott Vernon (remember him) we had him on loan from Col U. hardly set the place alight, he's managed to get a career at Aberdeen.Giles Coke Motherwell. Zola Aberdeen? Heffernan Hibs, the list goes on. Best of luck to Billy Mac though, I still think about his equaliser @ Anfield sending 5k Cobbs fans wild.

Well done Ryan, if that article is true, seems like AK rates him quite highly. Plus if it gets the go ahead for the end of the season IMO it would appear AK is definetly top of DC's pecking order.

IMO I think we're quite away off appointing somebody new Andy King seems to have been given a lot of trust, ie signing 2 lads on loan, letting (looking like) ROD go. Surely if we had someone lined up the new man would have wanted to bring in new signings himself and would also wanted a proper look at the squad?

Body language of the players I personally found most worrying on Saturday. Mainly all journeymen signings, nobody out on the pitch or on the present management bench with any (apart from a wage) real affiliation for the club. I (until Saturday) was pro AB, I found the lack of fight frightening. I'd say we are in the brown stuff.

I was their that day your Highness. However I didn't clap them off as it was a gutless display. I know i'll start a random thread by saying did you clap them off when we lost to whoever. The point i'm trying to make is what has this thread got to do with our current situation. I'm not happy with it, I don't know any who is but tell us all Marquis who would you bring in at this moment to make things better? Yes i'm now running out of patience with AB but I really have'nt a clue who to bring in. Marquis there will always be people who will clap the team off regardless of performance or result!

Point taken Rambo however, I never said last season was a sucess and I never mentioned the injuries. I'll agree on the 3 midfielders, hopefully the new loan player signings have given that 3some the kick up the arse they needed. I'll also agree the thread should been called restore some faith. I have'nt got blind faith Rambo (although they did a good album back in the day) im just a Cobbler like you mate who wants the best for the club.
