No commentary on ifollow for me either. Any reason? Having said that almost preferred just having some background stadium sound. Sorry to disagree with many but thought we were very poor throughout and that Lincoln won comfortably enough without too many problems. Difficult times ahead I fear.

Depends which audio you chose, there's a choice of Home or Away audio under the settings. Home would have been Radio Lincolnshire and Away would have been nothing as Radio Northampton weren't allowed to travel.

What a frustrating afternoon. Thought we more than matched them at least for the first 35 minutes until Miller came off. To have the wheels fall off so late is gutting particularly with two sloppy goals. Was painful watching the ball sail over Harriman's head for the second. Rose's goal was superb.
Not helped at all by a commentator who thought every Lincoln player was god's gift and not knowing any Cobblers player besides Bulger.

Not to break out the Curle-isms but there were positives to take. But once again we can't carve our chances into actual opportunities so we'll get nowhere.

This BBC Lincolnshire commentator is very excitable.

Could another game be in doubt?

Rain expected in Blackpool from 3pm tomorrow all the way through until kick-off and beyond - turning heavy during Tuesday morning  Roll Eyes

Spotted that too. Would be amazed if this goes ahead unless they have something to cover the pitch with!

What's the score with I-Follow? T&Cs of course long, laborious and hardly clear!
Does the £10 subscription carry to when the game is eventually played, or is a refund necessary?

It carries over to the re-arranged game  Smiley

Ryan Edmonson is going to be hard to tell apart from Cian Bolger on the screen

Thanks for the reminder :-) Is this going to be a virtual-type call that anyone can join? e.g. a Zoom thing? Or is it pre-recorded for folks to watch later?
11  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Pizza Trophy Quarter Final on: December 10, 2020, 13:40:46 pm
I wonder if we'll let their keeper walk all the way to the half way line again without challenging him!

Either way, nice to have a home draw. Another one to get the crowds in and maybe earn some revenue for the club.
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Back in the grounds...... on: November 27, 2020, 14:41:06 pm
Got an email today. I am not going as I am too old and decrepit, I have been trying to contact the club so that someone else can go. Its very complicated or is it just me.

It's not immediately obvious. There's a bit on the latest news announcement that says you can email ifollow@ntfc.co.uk if you want your ticket to go to someone else.

Also just had my email and same as Carlton - got a space about 20 seats or so away from my usual spot in the North stand. Very pleased as I'm not able to go to the Lincoln game (I'll be asking the club to give my spot to someone else if I am invited).

Official site has an announcement now.

Doncaster game will be a pilot event with 1,000 supporters allowed. Ballot will decide which ST holders can attend, those who can't will be able to go to the Lincoln game on the 19th.
15  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Burton Albion (a) on: November 21, 2020, 16:19:22 pm
I went to check the penalty stats, and we've only conceded 4 in the league apparently.

Interesting to know - thanks! Must be those Oxford City penalties skewing my perspective then  Grin

We seem to be conceding way too many penalties. Taken the shine off a very good win. But I'll take 3-1!

Our prize is a trip to Exeter City who topped Group E (with three wins out of three). Game to be played w/c 7th December.

Nice summary, thanks Grange. I'm sitting in the "I'll probably watch it" camp as it would be nice to see us progress.
