Northampton is a football town. Always has been - always will be. !!!!!!!
I think Tuks is basically right but at the moment we have an renowned Rugby Team which grab the headlines. Things can change as they are at Leicester!

Indeed I salute your enormous intellect making comment after comment, even if right, something you can do nothing about because despite that enormous intellect you are not (I'm assuming) in a position to buy the club and show us how it is done in practice (rather than the cheap talk of theory)
I, sir maybe of feeble intellect but you and your like have little understanding of the reality of the here and now - here and now maybe not ideal (and I won't even disagree) but there is nothing you can do about is there?
Ouch Clint , feel for you as it made me flinch too . Do you wear yr mask at bedtime or as it appears just during the day; just asking

That's the best you've got, is it? You're beginning to sound like Neverbrite. Every time people disagree with him he spins the multis'-card. Actually, Marvo, I'll apologize for that. We may disagree on this subject, but no one deserves to be compared to a Neverbrite Personally I thought it was an interesting post and if you had any sense of humour you would have not let it distract you from your daily moan. As for calling Marvo "Neverbrite" as way of an insult is both rude and disrespectful to him. But to do it as back handed compliment is pretty tasteless. Are you an oink or Cobblers supporter? Man up man

Today I have lost my job, written off my car and had my house broken into. It's ok though because I can have a laugh about life and the hysterical posts a lot of people put on here.

How dare you, I'm 58.
Oh and I'll post on here when I like and as often as I like, this isn't my job, it's just for amusement and if I want to take a break whenever I feel I need one I will. Christ, you and your ilk must have driven many away with your constant drivel on this very thread alone.
don't let them beat you down JC - get up and fight

It's just fu cking petulance. You'll get what you get. However many new seats there are you won't be able to sit on all of them. If they say they have bid for player X and don't get him, you moan. If a player is sold and the fee is Undisclosed you have a hissy fit and claim Cardoza has offloaded someone for a pittance that you - in your wisdom - feel is worth £20,000,000. If you're not told everything, you moan. I don't know what age you are, but you'll never get to 73 if you make such a fuc king drama about the football ground of a club that has always struggled to be even average. Enjoy being 5th for a few minutes. It might not last.
This is pure magic - its a great escape from Downton Abbey. He's ridiculed you big time JC - best get out before you are totally humiliated.

You always get me going I did not go due to my car being stolen, the house catching fire and me loosing my job all on the same day. Also my special outfit was at the dry cleaners and it was a bit windy and my wig would have blown away.Did you have a nice day? Did you make any new friends ? Sorry for not replying sooner. Catch up man - sounds if you are a little accident prone which is a pity. Must make it difficult for your friends? Pretty poor excuses why you did not go - not a single reason there at all . May I ask politely if you ever go to a Cobbs match, how about Wycombe you can buy a chair there too. This is all great fun don't you think ............zzz

And why do you think that is?
By the way David, distracters, of which you are one, are those who hide the truth behind smoke and mirrors, the vast majority on here want what's best for our club and its future.
Do you always lead with your chin😳

I didn't go Evers but how can the keeper get mom when the opposition only had one shot on target and we won 1-0 away against a team higher in the league and with 9 injuries?!
His one handed save was imo game turning point I prefer to stick up for the underdog and he has had to take some Pretty nasty stick on here
