Nearly everybody praised the club when we signed him!
For me, without making too many excuses for the club/KT/Brady, this is a huge part of it. Most fans were v pleased with the signings of Hylton and Simpson. Plus, as others have pointed out, we've kept Sammy who is scoring 1 in 2. If Sammy was delivering that return from CF, would we be blaming our strikers (or lack of) for dropped points?

and yet, had Reading possessed a decent keeper, we wouldn't have scored.
Good 3 points though.
Unless the lower leagues possessed a good ref, in which case we would have had at least one pen.

I was told by lady from Costa Dorada...
Unless I've missed something clever/funny Evers (apologies if so), can I suggest that revealing another poster's identity is poor form?

I just ask everyone to keep the faith and try not to put pressure on the team to get the ball forwards quickly. Yes there was a hairy moment with the keeper and yes it can get frustrating but I honestly to think the increased possession is a big reason we have gone the full 90 in the previous two games.
Completely agree with this. The style of play is working and, against Lincoln in particular, we were doing a great job of moving them around and then progressing through the gaps it created. Have to be patient to play that way.

I know i may have asked this before but how do you get commentary on Alexa or Sonos ? or can’t you ?
I don't think you can. I know whenever I try on my phone (BBC sounds) you can get pre and post match but not the commentary

When did he say that there was not much difference between 9th and 23rd ? Notice he didn’t say 24th though …. which we may well be . £1 million more makes a big difference
It was on Radio N'ton in the feature interview they did with him preseason. I'd listen back and find you a timestamp but I can't be arsed. I thought you knew that we had the second worst budget in the league (i.e. not 24th?)?

Re the New Supporters Club, maybe in a year to 18 months time people might be thinking differently. Some on here are going to have "Egg on their faces". If nothing has happened to the East Stand, then those calling for Trust heads might be wearing the Egg, and we won't need a new supporters club. Or if the builders are on site it and everything is looking good, it would be those who backed the Trust wearing the Egg and changes would be needed Jonathan Nunn, of the then NBC, said in 2017 that there was nothing stopping the East Stand completion, but it didn't get done. I think now there is pretty much 100% agreement that there are no barriers in the way, so lets see what happens. After all, we've been waiting 8 years so another 18 months won't make a lot of difference
I'm sorry Carton, but the sentiment of this post (as I read it) is nonsense. Being 'right' would not absolve any of those 'trust heads' of some of their actions or the way they have conducted themselves. They could all turn out to be 100% right and, for my part, I'd still want them as far away as possible from the Trust and certainly the club. I can't see any world where those calling for resignations will 'have egg on their faces' as you put it.

There are lots of players we have been in for and they have gone elsewhere . Players that go to Orient or other clubs that have cash you can understand . Players that go to mid table division 2 clubs or lower level clubs in our division is harder to take . We simply haven’t the budget and we will have to massively over perform again to survive. There has been no investment in this club for a number of years . As for Jacobs , he isn’t coming as i keep saying … unless things change 😆
I have no meaningful knowledge of how these things work B&S. So, genuine question... Would we not expect to miss out on more players than we sign every window, regardless of what our budget may be?
