Great tactical performance from JB. His “left field” selections of Sowerby (CB) and Monthe (Targetman / Left Wing Back) were match winning. I can’t decide if Derby were s***e or we just made them look s***e?!

Top scorer Rhodes has had his red card over turned and he plays. Turns out Blackpool do have enough clout to make things happen.
Perhaps we’ll have to ask them to fill out the form for us next time we have a soft red card. They obviously know what buttons to hit?!
I bet he gets a Fcukin hat trick!!!

Manny, you need to stop quoting right wing publications quoting right wing, titled, private school educated (a member of the dreaded “blob”?) pro- Israel politicians. Don’t get me wrong, I have some love for Sir Michael - he was very pro remain right up to the time BJ emasculated him.
Let me be arrogant and give you some advice Manny. As a leftie, if I just read left wing bias publications and listened to left wing bias pod casts / radio stations, I indeed would think that the BBC were very right wing biased. But I don’t, I try and understand all sides - which is why I particularly like your extreme interventions. I was a little cross when the BBC appointed right wing sympathisers / campaigners as Chair and CEO - Richard Sharp and Tim Davie. But I know if the BBC annoy people like you and people like me then they are probably getting it right!
I’m on a roll for giving advice, so let me repeat another one … Join Reform Manny. It’s only a matter of time until 30p Lee, Cruela and indeed the Daily Mail and GB News come out and nail their colours to that particular mast. Although I suspect Tyce won’t have 30p Lee - he’ll accept extreme right wing but I don’t think he’ll take stupid! You are clearly not stupid Manny (you’re a Cobblers fan after all!) so I’m sure they’ll have you.

It's so black and white with you? He's not s***e, but we could do better... Come on, you are not being fair to Manny. He’s not here to provide nuance and critical thinking. He’s here to challenge us all with his stark black and white thinking. You don’t need to agree with the guy to respect his passion and clarity of thought. It’s mostly complete bollox but it gets us to consider / justify our own beliefs / thoughts on Cobblers and non-football matters. I think a dose of Manny should be available to us all at all times on the NHS. NB Evers, you will recognise these sentiments from Chapter 3(I think) of Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations.

Interesting facts (assuming they are right) and question.
Sometimes success can clearly be classed as professional league survival (ask Bury etc). But I don’t think survival could ever be defined as progression.
For me the only current definition of progression for NTFC is as an established member of Division 1 with 4 finished stands, a growing fan base and sustainable financial results. So not there yet but we are progressing towards progression!!!!?

So I’m left with a number of genuine questions on this thread: Number 1) is for Manny. Number 2) for anyone.
1) Apparently WW3 is going to be caused by wokeness. So does that mean Putin, Kim Jon, President Xi, Hamas and Trump are woke? Or is it Gary Lineker and Carol Vordaman that are the likeliest war starters? 2) SNP are pushing for a cease fire while condemning Israel’s actions but the press don’t call them antisemitic. But if Starmer agrees with this he gets called antisemitic by our fair and balanced uk press? Why?
Just when you think you are beginning to understand how the right wing snowflakes are defining the word “woke” then you get confused again when wokeness is blamed for world wars! And I thought I was beginning to understand that to some anti-Israel means antisemitism but why would whether you are Scottish effect things? This could be me though - Manny (and others) here’s your chance to help a confused old lefty!

After watching the first episode of Breathless on ITV yesterday evening, I was reminded how when doctors and nurses were contracting Covid through the lack of adequate PPE, some Tories saw this shortage not as a national emergency, but as an opportunity to line their and their friends pockets with sub standard equipment. Still as we were told in the eighties, Greed is Good.
Indeed greed is good SotC. It buys you luxury boats and seats in the House of Lords while the little people who weren’t “brave” enough to speculate with their own millions, get to stay at home and bury their dead (with no more than 12 mourners of course) while the brave Tory investors partied the day and night away. And we all know that greed is clearly good because there are no repercussions of being dishonestly greedy. Indeed, you even get to keep your boat and your title. Victimless crime really - it’s only tax payers money and it isn’t a crime to lie to the press! Michelle Mone and BJ are the poster boy and girl of 14 years of Tory corruption, lies and greed. We can never hope for justice for these dregs of society but we can at least use our vote to make it is impossible for them to do it again.

.....and perhaps add the Brexit benefits - I'd like to hear the spin on the UK's poor GDP versus the EU as it might be difficult to blame Ukraine, Covid or even Corbyn.
Good point Peter. Maybe we should ask Laura Trott - Tory Treasury Minister. In her recent interview with Evan Davis she confirmed that she doesn’t understand debt, GDP and indeed percentages!! Thank goodness she’s not black and Labour - the right wing press would have hung her out to dry!! If you haven’t heard it, it’s worth a listen and confirms just why we are in the mess we are! https://youtu.be/l7G5s_0ykhE?si=Jy0GBnT-eSgV2tx_

Very Pavlovian Manny. Within hours of the UK people telling us what they really think of the 14 year disaster Tories, you blow you Fcukin dog whistle. Division and culture wars are the last thing you and your blue mates / press have. I am puzzled why you haven’t jumped ship to the Reform party Manny. I honestly thing you’d be happier. Just thinking of your mental health over the next 9 months. I really think the only Tory voters left are jingoistic over 70’s sitting on pensions going up more than inflation and no mortgage to worry about! Anyway, well done Gen and the good folks of Wellingborough. I hope my 3 days of leaflet delivering lead to at least a dozen votes for her.

Just like Satdee when Fox missed a clearance, Simpson failed to clear the lines from a corner and we were punished. Our back 5 looked shakey from start to finish. I don’t think we’ll have a choice against Brizzle - it’s going to be the same starting 5 as we had tonight! Great game though. £10 well spent - if only we had held out another 30 seconds!!

Hark what’s that I hear ….. Another Fcukin dog whistle. Who gives a s*** - live and let live. Most of us have important things to contemplate at night like paying my ever increasing mortgage, paying the gas bill, worrying about getting sick, not sure how long my mothers money will last if she goes in a home, what the fcuk will Israel do next, will my son ever be able to buy his own house, what happens to our country’s security if the Donald wins, how safe is my teenage grandson when he’s out at night. But hey, let’s all worry about inconsequential crap like gender politics, asylum seekers, BLM, Prince Harry and Fcukin ULEZ!

Good old Labour, U turning over £28bn green FLAGSHIP policy, they really are utterly clueless 😂
Manny .. you really need to learn how to use emojis. We know you’re joking but I’m not sure you do!? After 14 years of ineptitude there is no money left - although maybe Baroness Mone will bail us out and repay some of the amount she owes us all?? The Tories have managed to do what Hitler failed to do! Break us! They’ve always been self centred, nasty and hypocritical but at least in the old days you could always rely on the Tories to run the economy. BJ and Truss have kicked the only strength they had into touch. To quote your friend Nadine- this election will probably be an extinction event for the Tories. Can’t wait. Certainly as I deliver leaflets in the Wellingborough area over the last few weekends, it’s hard to find a true blue anywhere. More Rangers fans than Tories in Wellingborough!

We are at NINE now, I think that's correct : Tyler Magloire (Last update - FEB RETURN) Aaron McGowan (Groin injury against Shrews) Jack Sowerby (No update) Sam Sherring (No update) Ben Fox (Secret throughout, player apparently said a couple of weeks - a couple of weeks ago ) Danny Hylton (broke down after TWO Sub appearances) Ali Koiki (No real updates) Shaun McWilliams (No update) Akin Odimayo (No update) Plus we need to manage the minutes of Louis Appere and Lee Burge could be playing through injury(?) and we're totally stuffed to be quite honest. Gee, that says it all! Can we put a Freedom of Information request into the club??!! I’d just like to know which 4 camps they sit in: Imminent (next 2 weeks) Short Term (between 2 and 4 weeks) Long Term (between 1 and 3 months) Major (over 3 months)
