Yeah Pollock looked good in the few outings he was offered at Cobblers. Shame about Mills too as I thought he looked pretty solid at times, but appreciate he was probably on a reasonable whack. Great news that Rose has gone. Though it does raise the question of why we used him so much knowing we weren’t going to keep him. Would have been much better using the loanees more.
Hopefully we can get Eppiah back in for next season as I thought he looked good.
I guess it all hinges on what happens with Roberts, Horsfall and McWilliams. But my gut says all 3 will get picked up by a L1 club.
Then it’s a case of whether we get an offer that we can’t refuse for the likes of Koiki and Guthrie.
Very interesting few months!
Indeed agree on all of that! Your last point… that is the shame at this level, you get a few half decent players and they are snapped up the next window! Back to re-build again and a completely different 11 come August I’m sure!

ST prices obviously need increasing by 50% in order for the club to compete next season as the current investment (or lack of it) from the board is not enough to build a decent squad. Let’s see if we finally get a couple of PROVEN strikers rather than the BAS and kabamba options….
I doubt it
Good luck getting the same numbers off a 50% increase… get the point but in reality that is suicide for KT

Amazing work, shame events like last night made it feel a bit more of an unsavoury environment to take kids.
(Understand it was a night game and the number of younger attendees would have naturally been less than at a 3pm game!)

Shame that all of the sports headlines this morning include the "Northampton fans" who decided to invade the field of play, deploy smoke and assault Mansfield players... I’m confused by this, was it not clearly Mansfield fans? The one that went on and threw the flare was at the top of the hill post game and he was 100% a Mansfield fan. Are people dumb enough to not think an away fan managed to get in the home end?

Yeah just got the home one in about 5 mins. As usual people getting their knickers in a twist and can't wait a few hours and have to be part of an exclusive club to get them the minute they go on sale Was never going to sell out on day 1, calm yourselves down

Website just whirring away, can't get through on the phone. Are they just booking tickets for fans that have turned up at the ground? Live over an hour away and worker today, lunch break over at 2pm. Anyone booked at the ground or are systems just down?
Seems like the website is down / can't handle the surge in people logging on to buy - I'd be shocked if they sell out on day 1 for the home game so don't worry too much, try again tonight if you don't get through before 2pm

Still trying to digest how it all unravelled on Saturday. Here’s a thought, if Rovers beat a full strength Scunny 7-0 or played and beat another normal side 7-0 would we be feeling as bad? Is it the selection of those youth players that rankles the most? I think it probably is for me. I didn’t know the Scunny team until much later but when I did I wasn’t overly surprised they battered them. Our management team must have looked. And for that reason we probably should have been more positive second half. All hindsight now but it’s just a very difficult one to take.
Let's hope the players have moved on quicker than most fans have been able to otherwise we've got no chance

If we don't make it due to the Bristol Rovers game (goals) then I wouldn't blame Sc***horpe.... You manage your own destiny and I can think of plenty of bore draw 0-0's.
One or two of those into 1-0's and we wouldn't need to give a toss about the goal difference on the final day.

For me, Bristol Rovers are the threat...I can see them picking up six points, which will mean we will need four from our two games.
Yeah tend to agree here. 4 points will do it, going to be a nail biter next Saturday against a very good team - game on!

If I was the Chairman I'd want my best side out on Tuesday (the potential windfall from a bumper payday in the next Round). Horsfall and Guthrie's partnership is essential. I would want Koiki to start. Kabamba and Etete up front.
A. You're not (I don't think) B. He doesn't pick the team

Taking the two strikers off at the same time was criminal (said it at the time, not hindsight speaking)
We were still easily in the game at that time. There was still 30 minutes to go, you'd just take one off, not both.
Problem you had is they then scored and our two best strikers are already off the pitch - ridiculous decision unless other things behind it of course.
Hopefully a lesson learnt...
