Isn't Hildeberto Pereira a free agent?  Shocked

Marquis signed for anyone yet?

Anything of note amongst the 17 pages, or is it like every other thread on here?  Grin

Horsfall was excellent again tonight, becoming more and more like Charlie Goode by the game, so gets my vote.

Special mention for Pinnock though, best I have seen him play.
5  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Stevenage at home Tuesday 19/10/21 on: October 19, 2021, 10:26:25 am
After missing Saturday, I'm wondering if I should stay away so we can get the win.  Grin

Big game tonight, really need those three points to keep up with the top boys and Stevenage are a poor side.

As mentioned, seems ideal for Etete to bag a couple and go on a good goalscoring run!
6  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: BREAKING: Cobblers to invite democratically elected fan onto board... on: September 21, 2021, 14:08:06 pm
That's part of the problem Manny, they aren't the voice of the fans and haven't been for some time. I don't recognise anything they have done recently as been for the fans, it has been for a small number on the Trust board, or that's how it's seems to come across if you look at various FB groups and on here it seems pretty much that opinion overall is against the way they have been acting. It seems to be a fairly small number of posters on here who support them and very few on FB. Now I don't know how many people that comprises in total but it just doesn't seem as if they enjoy a majority of support.

This.

If ever there was a time for the Trust to pick a representative, and let the rest of the fanbase know who they have chosen and why they should be selected to get our support, then this is it.

Rose.

Worked his socks off and was a constant nuisance, glad he topped his performance with a goal.
9  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Home against The Iron Saturday 04.09.21 on: September 04, 2021, 14:54:56 pm
Disappointing half after a good start before the red card.

Rose has been excellent but we seem to want to play round the back and pump it long rather than trying to create.

Midfield has contributed very little, would love to see Pollock come on.

Still a half to go though, we’ve had two or three chances so let’s hope we take some of the next ones.

When I collected mine they didn't check anything and this was my first year as a Senior - discounted.

Driving License definitely Ok (Passport or DL are the preferred ID check devices).

Yep, pretty similar!  Grin

First game of the season I am able to make, and I cannot wait!  Grin

Getting there early to collect my season ticket and hope that my Driving License will be enough ID.

Be good to get a win and see the new recruits in flesh for the first time.

Up The Teyn!
12  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Let’s have a little fun!! on: August 07, 2021, 15:39:59 pm
I would imagine if we finished 13th we'd score more than that. That's about 0.75 goals per game. Most relegated teams score more than that.

Yeah, you are probably right on that front, but it's up there now.  Grin
13  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Let’s have a little fun!! on: August 07, 2021, 09:48:02 am
Exact final league position - 13th
Top scorer and amount of goals scored - Etete (14)
Team goals scored across season - (34)
Team goals conceded across season -  (63)
Promotion - No
14  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Port Vale at home Saturday 7th August 2021 on: August 07, 2021, 08:12:21 am
Wish I could be there today, but hope all that go have an amazing day.

Cannot wait to be back at Sixfields with you all again, for better or for worse.  Grin

Up The Cobblers!

It's a friendly and you're the manager. 30 mins each way will be more than enough 😀

 Grin

I'm almost hoping for it to be rained off!
16  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Port Vale at home Saturday 7th August 2021 on: August 02, 2021, 20:57:49 pm
Can't wait to get started, but will probably be late as have an U16's friendly to manage with a 12:30 KO.  Angry

Looking forward to seeing how we get on in terms of goal scoring, fingers crossed Etete gets some time on the pitch.

Guessing the line up will not be too different from Cambridge?
17  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Summer 2021 Transfer Window on: July 29, 2021, 10:37:46 am
Whatever happens, let's hope it's done before the season starts...absolutely bored of it all now & he obviously wants to leave, so let's all just move on & get it sorted.

Agreed, almost fed up of seeing different variations of this across social media every day.

More FB cover, at least with a decent amount of experience at this level.

Not sure if Harriman is considered JB's starting FB or not?

On the subject of Chuk, not sure what more the club can do. Trying to offer him a deal but he clearly has eyes on being elsewhere.

Should we make use of him whilst he is here or try and get rid?

Can't wait to see the formation at Sileby, will hopefully give us a clue of what's to come.
