Sure, but its not often a player is released and then re-signed the following year.
Did suggest he might get resigned. Spent last year with Cardiff U23s which would have helped his improvement. If he's injury-free definitely worth a contract.

When KT bought the club for £1, wasn't it conditional on him finishing the East stand? Instead he did a land grab which infuriated the council and wants developing that land as a condition for him fulfilling his original agreement. That being the case, does anyone really trust him? If I was the council I certainly wouldn't.

I appreciate the statement made on the club website and thank those involved with it. Hearing they are treated well and paid on time is the least they deserve. Of course, many working at the club were also there during the DC era. I'm sure those members of staff were completely unaware of the criminal activity of their previous employer before it was exposed. That being the case; how can they possible know the true intentions of the current owners? The owners might be selfless individuals that plough all profits from the land development into the club or they might disappear as soon as they get their hands on the money. I don't know the answer to this but neither do those behind the statement on the website.

Think it will be interesting to see what plan the current owners have for the East stand later on. If it's just filling in what's there I will be very disappointed because effectively that will be the same as what Cardoza and his gang of crooks knocked down. I would rather see the current structure knocked down to start again than that.

I had thought of this recently, would resigning Lashley as backup GK be a possibility. Was highly rated (according to some on here) and has spent the past season gaining experience - essentially on loan
I thought he was the best young keeper to come through the academy for a number of years so would be happy with this. JB might go for young keeper with more experience though.

Hopefully he’ll be able to source some raw diamonds both permanently and on loan - I think the market place for more established players is going to be incredibly competitive.
I think a few younger, cheaper options will allow him to spend more on key players. He said as much for the goalkeeping position. Wouldn't surprise me if one or two of the young players released by KC are resigned.

I think I read somewhere that Brady has links and relationships with numerous Premier League clubs youth and development set-ups, one of which would be Liverpool where Barry Hunter is Chief Scout - Hunter and Brady would have been close from their playing days at Rushden & Diamonds. It will be interesting to see if he exploits this link.
Yes, there was talk of JB going to work there himself. Think he had an opportunity...

Please with the appointment, but keen to know who the assistant will be as they can also have a significant influence. With the changes that are needed, and no doubt restrictions or limitations with pre season, I would anticipate a slow ish start and then build through the season with some improvements in January. All the talk has been about 2-3 years to build a structure but realistically they will be under pressure if were not at least challenging for top 7
Hope some of us are more patient than that. If we can see improvements in structure, more of our own players progressing and better football, I think it will be worth it.
