Well if we lose this one.......GJ's position is untenable.

It only took 13 minutes.
1682  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cobbs V Hereford (Match Thread) on: October 25, 2011, 18:57:04 pm
Wonder what the gate will be tonight.....bloody freezin' down here too.
1683  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cobbs V Hereford (Match Thread) on: October 25, 2011, 18:56:14 pm
Come On Cobblers

1st home game i've missed for a couple of seasons

Hope my Man Flu & absence  brings a change a fortune for the team
1684  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Jacobs Celebration on: October 24, 2011, 14:25:09 pm
Someone ought to have a word with him.........definately not a wise thing to do under the circumstances.

I wonder if he will insult his own fans again in the future Huh? Looks even sillier when we blow that lead as stated above too.

In all my time of supporting the club I can only remember the Tony Barton era as being worse than this bunch of "players" ....even the post Foley youth teamers would beat this lot.....and a player signals shhhh to the fans . Priceless !
1685  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: RESIGN on: October 19, 2011, 14:19:22 pm
Well a defeat at Bradford and surely the game is up.

Tragic Johnson................ you'll go down in history.
1686  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Has GJ "lost the dressing room"? on: October 19, 2011, 14:17:28 pm
Barry Fry of all people had given Johnson a vote of confidence in th Chron. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing tbh

That's all he needs......what a state we are in. God help us.
1687  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Jackson back to City on: October 19, 2011, 14:15:36 pm
Thought he did well generally and certainly made a difference at Wimbledon & Barnet , as stated above.

Good Luck to 'im.....now how about Big Dancin' Baz going back to one of his many clubs perchance.
1688  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Cobblers Bid For Rugby Team on: October 19, 2011, 14:13:47 pm
I remember the original rugby league team playing here.

We'll end up with a pitch like Stockport's and we all know what happened to them.

I still have nightmares about the Fulham match and the effect of the Rugby posts!

Crap idea.

Well done Nick...good to see you get credit.

Westwood......even accounting for their goal.Tempted to give it to "Ian Welch" ....listed as "12th man " on team sheet.
1691  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Welcome George Baldock on: October 02, 2011, 10:13:57 am
What an inspired debut ....i hope we can hold on to him for a while.
1692  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Barnet away on: October 02, 2011, 10:11:01 am
Sign of a good side....getting results when playing badly......well we certainly are and yes, our current form is good. Let's hope we can build on this and add in a few good performances too.

Having said that ....winning this way is taking us up the table.

What does the future hold .Huh?....are we now following the magic Johnson past form?
1693  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: The 'Clare Balding' POTS: Barnet (a), 01/10/2011 on: October 01, 2011, 18:55:55 pm
Jackson....a game changer.
1694  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Barnet away on: October 01, 2011, 18:52:19 pm
I don't know where that came from, certainly didn't see it coming during the 1St half.....but a great win....just got back home. Well done Cobblers, not exactly a happy hunting ground ...playing the 2 up front made all the difference.

Even GJ coming out of his dugout and givin' it large at the final whistle.

Let's kick on from this Cobblers.
1695  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Barnet away on: September 27, 2011, 19:49:46 pm
On the train even tho' it's an easy drive ......heading for the real ale pubs in the High Street as usual.

Any away trip that includes London is a must do.

1698  The Hotel End / Cobblers Corner / Re: Macclesfield away on: September 17, 2011, 15:54:16 pm
